They pretty much closed the premise for season 1, Magic is coming, so can they leave? Memories are back they have their identities back so what now? The savior did what it was her destiny to…so where can it go from here? What’s gonna be the driving force of the show now? Everything we were worried about all season is pretty well resolved? I just don’t know where they’re planning to take this thing now…

And Rumpel has his magic and he still wants Bae. We don’t know if anyone can leave town or not yet. They can still introduce new characters. Everyone seems to be still stuck in the real world even though Henry and Emma both thought that they would go back. There is still more to do.
I think the whole what is going to happen in town is something i just don’t get.
And on the fairytale land side of the thing as they said Snow and Charming are going to try and take back the kingdoms and regain their power there. And there is still plenty of back story they could do there.

Also, I think it’s likely that the curse is broken, but since he wrote the curse, there were multiple curses. He couldn’t make it so that everybody would automatically return to FTL, if he didn’t design it so that HE could control when and if they go back then he would risk never finding Bae. Though I expect to see the hatter play a larger role in season 2, due to Oz, and Mulan being mentioned by the writers for season 2.

May 14, 2012 at 8:26 am #146671lorem ipsumParticipantSince the last scene in the finale was the clock striking 8:15, could this be what everyone calls a Lost-style reset? I don’t know what that means since I didn’t watch Lost. Did time stop or start over again?
May 14, 2012 at 11:04 am #146679arjay369ParticipantThe season could have used another episode to help explain things. A lot of the things seen in the finale seemed rushed.
How/Why did Jefferson know about Belle in the psych ward?
Other than seeing his name on a door in the psych room, couldn’t we have seen a little more of Sydney Glass to have a little update?
How is it Belle is so accepting of everything that’s going on?
Did all that character building for Regina go out the window the moment she saw magic coming?
Is August dead or what? Is it really necessary to wait til the next season to answer that?
Maleficent stuck in dragon form sll this time? Really? Could there have been no clues to make the viewer feel they were even in the same ballpark with this one?
And Granny and Red? Dr. Whale and Mother Superior? I really wish more had been done.
If, for some ungodly reason, the network decides not to go through with a second season, I will be quite disappointed with what we were left with. Just saying, another episode could have been used to smooth things out a bit.May 14, 2012 at 12:11 pm #146680rumoParticipantIt was a season finale, not a series finale. They set up the second season with all those loose ends you mentioned.
So what now? Rumpel is a force to be reckoned with. I believe the way he betrayed Emma was just a glimpse of things to come. Regina might not be the villain of the second season at all.

The thing is it doesn’t feel like a cliff hanger usually feels to me. Most of the original things about this show were basically resolved they just Created a bunch of new ones all over again! What’s Henry’s role now? Or Emma’s for that matter? What’s the point of the book now? They really. Just blew this thing up lol
May 14, 2012 at 12:42 pm #146682hjbauParticipantI like that they tied so much up and yet left some new things dangling. I hate shows that are totally cliffhangers like if they had left Henry dead. I think shows that do that can be really silly because you never believe it and if they are going to kill a character i think it is bad to wait and see if they are dead until the next season. If they are dead then be dead and that be the end of it.
