Lion King 2 is reasonably good.

Toy Story 1 2 & 3 aren’t fairytales but I loved the 3rd the best and the Halloween special was mighty cute!

Disney had this phase of churning out sequels for money, and this is not the worst of them by far. (Cinderella II is awful!). I liked the idea of Melody but the animation was off and the storyline definitely could have been better. Who knows what they’ll do in ONCE, but there’s lots to pick from in semi-Disney canon.

Agreed. I liked Melody and the story of TLM2 but… The one thing that has always bothered me was how Triton’s tail is GREEN-ish in this one, instead of blue. To this day, that still makes me like ehh. Also, speaking of semi-Disney canon, there was a book where Simba and Nala have a son in edition to their daughter Kiara. Just putting that out there

Melody irritated me in Little mermaid 2. Peter Pan 2 is a reasonable film. It has some good moments in.

Did you all know there’s a Star Trek connection to The Little Mermaid? He had a very small role, mainly making it his goal in the movie to cook and serve Sebastian on a platter.

Rene Auberjonois, otherwise known as Odo on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine was Chef Louis.

*nods frantically* Odo was my absolute favorite on DS9 and probably second favorite Trek character overall. I *love* that he was Chef Louis.

it is my personal head cannon until proven otherwise that the whole “I know how to recognize a desperate soul” thing really came out of “poor unfortunate souls” and i wanted rumpelstiltskin to be Ursula to see if i could be proven right in my insane prediction but he was not. lol.

Magic always comes with a price, so I pay with visa.

Since this thread was revived, I guess its safe to say Ariel is not the neice of Ursula in the Once-canon. Considering she and Triton were the spawn of Poseidon (or Neptune if u watched the series) Then its not a big stretch to have Ursula as a goddess. Come to think of it, it’d be a nice if twist if you find out that the real reason Ursula threatened Regina wasn’t because she impersonated her… But because she messed with her neice! 😮

    That’s a fun head canon.
