Thanks RaulYbarra – I can never remember who or when other time zones are with the east coast. Still I know I would hate having to stay away from it for hours and I know a lot of the west coasters unfollow so as not to be spoiled.
It can be very fun to have more people interacting and I’d love seeing more (general) things trending. I don’t care for this week’s hashtag just because it is way too spoilery, whereas the ones Fringe did for the last season were fun and mysterious and could be used without shouting #OneWillDie – I would really really love to have something more like the Fringe days so we can at least say we’re watching the episode but without giving too much away (I know some people even hate episode titles and promos).
If somebody could meet people in the middle without something usable that would be great. I loved how the first ep of the season used #MagicIsComing and nobody would have been spoiled by that and I know #CharmAttack has been used as well. Would love to see OUAT have trending things more often, I just tend to hide out in the live chat to avoid ruining something for others. It’s too awesome of a show to risk saying anything major so if there is a live tweet thing going on on both coasts I tend to rewatch and tweet during the west coast viewing just to be on the safe side.
It’s a tough and delicate balance. I would like to think that most would stay away from twitter til it’s time to watch an episode but that’s not always the case.

I am hearing more about the show recently at the break room from other staff. The now know what I mean if I tease them and ask ARE YOU A ONCER.

Indeed. In the case of Fringe, I think that crowd was a bit more, well, geeky as far as things like Twitter, chats, etc. so when to clear out and when to shut up were a bit more second nature. Once is a bit broader in scope than Fringe with regard to audience, so I’d expect more casual users who might be taken by surprise by the details. Twitter had the advantage of being a handheld device.
Of course, I would have a tough time tweeting anyway… I’ve usually got my dog on one leg, my son on the other and my wife curled on the floor next to me when Once shows. I usually can’t even twitch until the show is over… 😉

Once Upon A Time @OnceABC
Henry. Rumple. Cora. Regina. Nealfire. Emma. Red. Granny. Charming. Hook. Archie. #OneWillDie SundayI laughed at seeing Red and Granny in that list, and even Archie, because those are more random choices that have been discussed by the fandom. Also, they used the name Nealfire…that’s SO from fandom. I totally think the powers that be are spying to see how people have been speculating about this upcoming death, and because so many have figured out it must be Cora, they’re trying to throw other options into the mix through official channels. *waves to the ABC spies* 😛
Notice that the pic they’re using of Rumple is actually Dark One Rumple, even though it’s Mr Gold Rumple that’s currently dying. I think the way they had the graphic with both Rumple and Cora in it may have been a sly little indication that it’s The Dark One who will die, and that will be Cora, after she takes Rumple’s powers.

Well that’s some consolation then. It would be cruel to pretend Archie died and then a few episodes later actually kill him off. That’s twice now they’ve faked us out on his death, we don’t need two in one season!
However it narrows down the possibilities and I am definitely still concerned about a couple other of our favorites, so hopefully it’s just a lot of misdirect and Cora will end up being the one just like we thought originally.

March 10, 2013 at 2:54 pm #178679MatthewPaulModeratorSo, ABC has two GetGlue stickers for tonight’s episode. One is of Cora, and one is of Rumple. Both ask if they will die in tonight’s episode.

http://getglue.com/stickers/abc/once_upon_a_time_one_will_die_coraThis seems to imply that the death in this episode will be between the two of them. More possible evidence that it will be Cora who dies.
