All magic comes with a price!

Well not exactly, she may die or not, TWD films from summer to winter, they already filmed and there are other regular cast members from TWD on other projects, and this films from January I think bc is to premiere in may, also this may not be the big success people think, reboots most of the time fail.

Michael’s not typically, a girl’s name, but it’s not unheard of.

May 17, 2017 at 6:01 pm #338886RumplesGirlKeymasterThe trailer dropped.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 17, 2017 at 6:51 pm #338944hjbauParticipantI still don’t like that it is a prequel. At least there seems to be a lot of female characters.
May 17, 2017 at 7:06 pm #338951RumplesGirlKeymasterI’ve watched it a few times now. I have things to say and I know I’m coming at it as someone who was raised on all the Trek’s and has a deep love of the franchise soooo….
1) Prequel why?! WHY?! Did they learn nothing from Enterprise?? Prequel’s don’t work for Trek. They just don’t. It should be about moving forward, not backward.
2) What the heck with the Klingons?
3) Lots of females is great and all but this is Star Trek; it should be incredibly progressive. Each show should build on what came before. We start with the All American corn-fed Captain, get the balding philosopher king, then an African-American Captain, and finally a woman (I’m ignoring Archer cause prequel). This is going to be the first new Star Trek in a very long time. It should absolutely push the envelope of being progressive. Queer, diverse, body positive, race positive, gender positive and every alphabet letter in that soup. A cast of just mostly human women doesn’t cut it for me. It shouldn’t cut it.
4) NO but really why is it a prequel?
5) The writers haven’t watched ToS have they cause “10 years before Kirk, Spock , and the Enterprise” doesn’t make canon sense. (Go watch the Cage, yo)
I’m going to watch it since it’s Trek but eeeeehhhhh. I’m not feeling happy.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 17, 2017 at 7:15 pm #338953RainbowParticipantI have to say, i always prefered Star wars to star trek, Sorry dont hate me, so i was never a regular viewer of the tv shows and even of the movies( although i have the last movie in DVD, mostly bc was a present, still didnt saw it), so i was like very not even thinking in watching, but after watching the trailer, i sort of became curious and will watch it, even more bc here will be on Netflix, so i have ways of watching it everytime i want.

May 17, 2017 at 7:53 pm #338956hjbauParticipantI definitely think they need to push the cast and make them more progressive then just women. I hope they have a LGBT couple.
What is it with the Klingons? I didn’t even realize they were supposed to be Klingons. I think they should just do makeup and forget the CGI.
Yeah, i could do without the prequel as i said. They really should move forward. Going into the past doesn’t allow them to use the actors from the past in the show which is a great loss.
