Speculating Oz….

I feel the opposite about SB, I think it ought to end up being their new home in the long run, but fairly securely in its own pocket universe, with very limited threat of the outside world once THO is destroyed. It’s not an issue really for the Harry Potter universe, the idea being the real world doesn’t want to see so it doesn’t see.

Either way I do agree with Phee that a return to SB would give some space before new land overload, but at the same time, it could be tied to Neal and he might end up in Oz not NL. I think it would be a waste of his character’s experiences in NL not to have him end up there to be part of the confrontation with Pan.

I also think though not quite as obvious ties to Oz, the green in Neal’s apartment might have been a nod to the Emerald City of Oz, and his experience as a thief, maybe a conman, could have tied in with the Wizard who pretended to be more than he was.

Of course that could go back to Whale, who maybe pretends to be less than he is…but I don’t know they’re doing much with Whale.

One more tie to Oz: Dorothy’s Uncle Henry and Auntie Em (though it is short for Emily not Emma….).

I know this film isn’t Disney owned and A&E probably don’t have the rights to do it, but doesn’t this sound very OUAT-ish? The key…like the key Hook has and the one Adam tweeted, the multiple worlds including Neverland, making a deal with the wizard.

I’ve seen the movie, so I really hope they DONT take anything from it (I mean…it could have been better) but it would make an interesting story if incorporated somehow into Once.

Yes, it does which was why when I noticed an actor on OUAT had been in that movie, it was like, is that an accident?
Or is that part of a nod and why they chose Ethan Embry? Unless it was just they felt like they “can’t hardly wait” to get to NL…..

It is! That’s why I felt compelled to make a new thread. But since Watcher said it was bad, not sure I will watch it.

Its….. Okaaaayyy. It had really good moments. Then it had really bad moments. A good story overall especially if your a wizard of oz fan. But don’t expect too much. Its an interesting watch. Not a great one.
