    Can Emma save August?
The bad news: Jennifer Morrison tells us that we won’t find out whether Emma can stop Pinocchio’s transformation in this Sunday’s finale. The good news: “Pinocchio’s story continues,” executive producer Adam Horowitz says. So that means more Eion Bailey, and who doesn’t love a hot Stranger on a motorcycle?

Emma will probably just speak to August before she goes to break the curse, whatever that is, and then they won’t show him again.

As long as we know he’s coming back I can be cool over the summer, they still might kill him off & he might only show up in flashbacks but I think there’s a better chance of him being alive season 2

    WORD 😉

I’m happy to know they’ve got more in store for the character. Will frustrate me to no end to not get an answer about his condition in the finale though.

We saw August turn into a giant man-size puppet. Since Emma broke the curse and Mr. Gold brought magic to SB, I’m really hoping that August will be around as a normal man next season and that we don’t just see Pinocchio in FTL flash-backs. Also, I’d love for Emma and August’s relationship to develop more, either as brother-sisterly love or a deep friendship.

Some of my post could be considered spoilerish.

I assumed August was the major character death that was hinted at by producers previously. The quote from the producers I took as meaning Pinocchio's story in FTL will continue to be explored. This could be also if Dr. Whale truly is Monstro. Producers have hinted more off Dr. Whale's character will be explored.

OK, this will probably sound crazy, but I wouldn’t put it past the writers to try it….we saw in FT land Pinocchio as the animated puppet on the raft, THEN Blue Fairy turned him into a real boy. So my craaazy theory is that August will be revived as a huge animated puppet man, then he has to prove his worth to be turned into a real man again. Let’s not forget he lied and was not a good boy, which is why he was turning back into wood. He might have to so something to gain that right to be human again. It would be kinda freaky to see August as a huge puppet…and so funny. The writers said Pinocchio’s story would continue, but not that Eion Bailey would….in any case i’d love to see Geppetto’s reaction.
