Michelle: Hey, do you guys have anything for Once Upon a Time?
Two words: Flying. Monkeys. The winter premiere of the magical ABC drama is packed with jaw-dropping moments and heart-warming scenes—especially for all you CaptainSwan shippers out there! We’re serious, after watching this hour, even the strongest Neal fan will begin to doubt their feelings and wonder if they’re rooting for the right couple.[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 24, 2014 at 9:51 am #247299RumplesGirlKeymasterFlying monkeys should be excellent!

Not this Neal fan. 🙂

I’m super excited for the Flying Monkeys. Seems that all the comments about them in the media have been really positive.

Not this one either. Media should stick to reporting the stories and not tell us how we should feel about anything. Just my opinion though. 😉
#MoreBOOMLessGloomFebruary 24, 2014 at 10:32 am #247326RumplesGirlKeymasterAlright. I did some reading into flying monkey mythology of Oz (see HERE for full article)
Important points
In the original Oz novels, winged monkeys were just what the name implies: intelligent monkeys with bird-like wings. The Winged Monkeys were once a free people, living in the forests of Oz. They were carefree, but rather mischievous
In the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, the monkeys are apparently intelligent enough to obey commands, but do not speak, as in the book.
They were never included in any of the subsequent Oz books by Baum, although they are mentioned in The Marvelous Land of Oz, and Alexander Volkov’s Oz-based series briefly features them once more (and they are also mentioned once more).

So I guess that article or spoiler that said Walsh is a monkey can’t be right then huh after all he is talking to Emma in NY 🙂
Interesting tidbit about Neal perhaps he has moved on again and meet someone else.

But he’s a human at that point, not a monkey.
So it’s possible that he could speak.

As for Neal: I think this has to do with the TVLine spoiler about how Snow and Charming tell him not to go after Emma, but to let her be happy. I think he seriously considers it until Belle talks to him and reminds him to fight. Like she is going to fight for finding Rumple. (and there have been other articles that talk about not counting Neal out. Each article puts their own spin on it)
That’s all I am going to say. We’re just coming off LOVE day and I want to keep my positive high

Not this Neal fan.
Nor I! Rather presumptuous to assume SwanFire fans would. People just don’t get the “LOVE” behind Swanfire! 😉
