It’s just one journalist’s opinion! Doesn’t mean we will necessarily agree.
I don’t mind people having their own opinions. Like whomever you like. I just dislike it when journalists present their own opinions as facts, or worse, presume to speak for all fans of the show.

Another interesting tidbit about Flying Monkeys
–apparently they used to be a free people but were cursed to serve a witch (not the Wicked Witch of the West).
So it’s possible that Walsh is a flying monkey disguised as a human and is only doing Zelena’s bidding because he *has* to. He has been forced into her service against his will?
For those of you who watch WL, it feels a bit like The White Rabbit. He did Ana’s bidding because she was holding Mama Bunny and Baby Bunnies captive.
Here is an article which explains a little bit about the history of the evolution of the winged monkeys.
In the original “Oz” books, Baum had the flying monkeys as a free species that happened to be made as slaves after one of them threw a rich Oz citizen into a river. Eventually, through the aid of a golden cap, the Wicked Witch of the West took control of the winged monkeys to the point of them becoming her minions. And what you see in 1939’s “The Wizard of Oz” stayed that way, despite the monkeys being freed eventually in the books after the witch’s death.

Every article so far says they’re pretty terrifying. Yay!
Oh please, give me a break with the the editorializing about Swan Fire fans and everyone else having to fall all over Captain Swan
My heartwarming moments will be Belle/Neal and, sorry, I don’t care about Emma and Hook………Ugh
In the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, the monkeys are apparently intelligent enough to obey commands, but do not speak, as in the book
So I guess that article or spoiler that said Walsh is a monkey can’t be right then huh after all he is talking to Emma in NY Interesting tidbit about Neal perhaps he has moved on again and meet someone else.
But he’s a human at that point, not a monkey. So it’s possible that he could speak. 13 days As for Neal: I think this has to do with the TVLine spoiler about how Snow and Charming tell him not to go after Emma, but to let her be happy. I think he seriously considers it until Belle talks to him and reminds him to fight. Like she is going to fight for finding Rumple. (and there have been other articles that talk about not counting Neal out. Each article puts their own spin on it) That’s all I am going to say. We’re just coming off LOVE day and I want to keep my positive high
Hmm, but TV Source spoiler says Neal also has a plan to find Gold, so while they might disagree, I can’t imagine they’d separate. I hope they are able to come up with a plan that works for both and move to try and find hm…
