I would never imagine that Rum’s father was a coward and he was raised by spinsters. The line “Scared of ending up just like his father” makes me think that he didn’t want to be like his father but he grew up just like his papa. Rum and Regina were both afraid to grow up to be their parents and they ended up just like that anyway.

I wonder what made Rum’s father a coward now.

I greatly dislike the Peter Pan theory. I don’t think Bae needs to be anyone else, and him ending up in Neverland discredits the whole point of the curse. I think it makes more sense that he has been in our world the whole time, therefore a kindred spirit to Emma. I want Peter to be his own character…Bae’s personality doesn’t fit Peter anyway. I just can’t see him being all cocky and seeking adventure and danger and childish.

Well just to point this out: He was a fairly cocky thief hijacking a car when we met him. And wanted for stealing watches. He and Emma talked about stopping their adventures and moving to Tallahasse.

Well that’s true…I had forgotten. However, he wasn’t that way as a kid, and if he was Peter, he would have been so as a kid.

Back to the topic, interesting new tweet! So his father was considered a coward too. Curiouser and curiouser!

I wonder if Rumple’s papa is a well known Fairy Tale character. They already established that Hook was around before any of the more well known characters (like Snow or Belle) so it’s possible that we’re looking at a another well known character who has yet to appear in FTL.

I wonder if the Blue Fairy knew Rumple’s father and what made him a coward. Now I want to see a flashback storyline about Rumple’s father and why he was considered a coward. Also I wonder now if Rumple was just like Baelfire when he was younger and he had to same conversations with his father, that Bae had with Rumple.

Oooooh. As someone who thinks the BF is secretly behind many things that have happened, I like you’re thinking! I wonder if Rumple even knew this father. What if his father was Zoso (long shot…just throwing it out there).

Unless Rumple never knew his father. He was raised by “spinsters,” the child never said anything about being raised by his father, but the spinsters

I hope that his own father is not that bad to let his own son kill the father to get the cruel fate, that he has suffer. I m not a shipper of Zoso.

So I guess that means the dagger is buried…wasn’t there a suggestion that it was in the library basement somewhere?
