The casual viewer has always just assumed that Mr Gold went to get Henry, because Regina said as much. Hopefully this reveal that he hasn’t actually been out of town before will be a starting point for them showing exactly how Henry came to SB.

Like what ABCOnce is doing, making good use of Twitter with these teasers. Giving not much away (so people who don’t like to be spoiled much following them on Twitter should be okay with) but something to speculate about. Not to mention turning it into a little game with the number of retweets, takes care of some advertising.

When the show first premiered, I thought Mr. Gold had his memories the whole time because how else could he have gotten Henry? But then the creators confirmed he didn’t know until Emma said her name. I’d sure like to know the story of Henry’s adoption. My guess is that either August helped arrange it or that anyone with a connection to Storybrooke is automatically drawn there.
You know, I never even entertained the idea that Mr. Gold might have travelled outside of Storybrokke before the curse was broken. I always assumed that he was trapped inside Storybrooke with all the others. I can’t wait to hear his answer though!

Yes, it was some crafty marketing on their part. Keep the hype going even when the show isn’t on. 😉

In my pet theory on this, Mother Superior, (who retained her memories and knows about Henry) is the one who puts the idea in Regina’s head about wanting a baby. There’s gotta be some reason that Regina suddenly decided she wanted a kid at exactly the right time to adopt this particular kid. If Blue wanted to keep Henry close, so she could watch over him Fairy Godmother style, this was the perfect scam. Plant the idea in Regina’s head…Regina goes to Gold because Rumple gets the babies…Gold goes to Mother Superior who would know of any adoptable babies in town…she hands over Henry.
