Even if it is receipt paper, that doesn’t mean it is Gold’s. He wouldn’t put himself on the list. GOAT could have grabbed some receipt paper at Granny’s, as for the typewriter thing, August used to have one. Tamara could have taken his when she was in his trailer.
Oh, that is right August did have a typewriter good idea. Why would Regina put her name on the list then if you think Gold wouldn’t put his name on it? ❓

I mostly saw you speculating it had to be Gold, didn’t see you reference Regina or would have mentioned that she wouldn’t put herself either.

April 27, 2013 at 2:34 am #189082HappyEndingsSpectatorI think you are right Owen typed they list got the paper from Granny’s dinner since it is the same place where he stays. Greg used August typewriter, and was trying to past the note to Tamara but Emma got it instead.
Since we didn’t see the full list maybe it just had the few names on it instead of the whole town.

It’s possible both August and Tamara knew the author of Henry’s book. The author of the book could be the source of the list.

Oooooh. While my personal theory is that the BF wrote the book before the Curse hit and it went with Mother Superior in SB (who, as head nun, naturally just gave it to MM at some point but really wasn’t sure why except something inside her told her to) this is interesting. That would mean it had to be someone on the outside. And if they’re giving GOAT a list of everyone living inside SB and if they know the kind of person she is, the author of the book might be a villain. Alright: what villains have we not seen who have a penchant for writing?

Wow!!! What a great idea slupreez108!!!!
It would have to be someone or someones because of the fact the Dr isn’t from FL. Maybe the Mad Hatter wasn’t he everywhere and he kept his memories. ❓
April 27, 2013 at 1:40 pm #189125kfchimeraParticipantI wonder to what extent someone from inside SB could contact the outside world during the curse? I know there are probably threads about that somewhere, discussing how Emma’s things arrived, groceries etc., Henry’s use of the internet (and a credit card!).
Is it possible someone from inside SB got in touch with Greg or Tamara on the internet, hoping to see if they could lure people to town to break the curse? Jefferson was housebound, sure, but he was possibly mad enough to try something like that. I definitely like the idea that he wrote the book. The thing is, he knew about Whale because he met him, but Whale is not in the book.
Henry: Frankenstein isn’t in here. It’s not even a fairy tale. That means it comes from another land with different stories.
Emma: Eat. I really want to go to bed.
Henry: If the curse went to places with other stories, then who knows who else is in this town?
Another thing I noticed from “in the name of the brother”–when Emma was rifling through Greg’s phone, she mentioned his linkedin account….too bad she didn’t check that out 😛
Though not sure he would have a link to someone marked as “Author of Book “Once upon a time”. 😆“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. April 27, 2013 at 1:46 pm #189126RumplesGirlKeymasterBefore Emma arrived I get the feeling the town was more or less self sustaining. They never ran out of anything because the Curse was designed to keep them insular but alive. How did Emma’s things get there? Obviously nobody drove in because you either needed to be from the EF or from SB to get back into it, but those boxes had to come from somewhere. Did Emma leave to pick them up in another city and we just didn’t see that?
I can see Henry and the other inhabitants using stuff like the internet because it’s not as if they believed themselves to be living in a city with nothing else around. They knew about the outside world, their cursed selves just never ventured outside of SB and they believed that they had always been there. There was no drive, in short, to take a long weekend trip to Boston. And if someone had tried, they’d stop before they crossed the line.
Jefferson as writer of the book. Maybe, if he knew about Bae at some point, which I think is very likely since Bae didn’t come to our world until about 1991, a few years after the Curse brought everyone to SB.

In Price of Gold, it’s pretty ambiguous. She says she’s glad her things are “here”–but not delivered or anything specific. Quite possible she drove back to Boston, packed her own apartment and stuff in offscreenville. That explanation makes a lot of sense with the idea SB was self-sustaining and no one really left or came.

April 27, 2013 at 3:10 pm #189136HappyEndingsSpectatorRemember that Henry left the city on a bus that was supposedly never comes to SB, remember Red fighting with ther Grandma and she was waiting at the bus stop 😕
