When Hook came to NY, Neal didn’t seem at all distressed over the idea of locking up Hook. He didn’t try to bargain with him nor was he concerned about leaving him behind. I can’t believe we have to go the rest of the summer without some much needed Neal/Hook interaction. OMGold…we have to go longer because Neal is in FTL.

And when fall comes, there’ll be Hook and Neal and Belle and Rumple and Regina and the Charmings and Emma and Peter Pan AND Wonderland…lots and lots of Once for us. And plenty of time for us to spin theories, timeline, write fanfics, etc. (and find a job if you happen to be Keb…)

I think Bae’s more likely to openly express hatred and distrust towards Hook than anything else.
We don’t know exactly, but still fast enough they could not have bonded too much. Helping with Henry could win Hook some goodwill, but we have to see how that goes down.
That’s a fairly good point, but I’m more inclined to believe what I said if only because I’m already foreseeing this as a potential source of conflict between Neal and Emma, who has been said to understand Hook.

Do we know how long Hook and Bae were together? When I watched it seemed like only a few days had passed from pulling Bae out of the water and to when he was taken by the Lost Ones. But it could have been months, I suppose.
We don’t have much to go on really. Hook complimented him on getting his sealegs, but Bae said he still gets seasick, so I don’t imagine it was any great length of time, maybe a couple of weeks at most? We also don’t know yet if they encountered each other again in NL after Bae was taken, but I hope they did.

In my head I have these images of Hook trying to rescue Bae from the Lost Ones.

It’s possible. Something must start his rivalry with Peter Pan somehow, and that’s a believable one.

Yes, since they are taking such a different path with PP in general, they have to keep some elements from the original to make it recognizable and the Hook/Pan hatred would be a good one.

Yes, I’m hoping for this too. When the Lost Ones have Bae in their little boat, and Hook looks down at him, there’s instant regret in his expression.
May 22, 2013 at 4:12 pm #195722KebParticipantHe was choked up when he “thanked” Bae for reminding him of his purpose, too.
Hook needs cuddles.
I’m wondering if Henry will ever hug Hook or Rumple. (I could totally see him hugging Belle once they actually get to really meet–the only scene they’ve been together for is Archie’s funeral.)
Of course, if Neal hugs Hook or Rumple at some point, I’ll probably be a blubbery mess over here.
They really do all just need hugs.

He may be more willing to hear hook out. Yes he caused Bae lots of pain, but his betrayal didn’t cut as deep as Rumples did. Over the years Bae may have Regretted not having some kind of family. Even a little bit especially during particularly lonely times. So IMO, all hook really has to do is say a sincere” I’M SORRY BAE, I WAS WORNG” and things will probably look up from there. Bae won’t hold hook to the same standards he holds his father.
