So now the finale is over and I’m angered to say that, yes, they did NOT explain how Jafar was resurrected as a child or what that dust was that revived him!!!!! What the fudge, Adam and Eddy!!! You too Jane!!!! They really just crapped all over the “dead is dead” thing

We know that additional episodes were ordered, which leads me to believe that several of the things that they brought up but never followed up on (Alice’s connections to the Red Queen in the past, more of Jafar’s backstory, some of the stuff with the Jabberwocky, etc.) were casualties of the decision to scrap said episodes and simply make the series a 13-episode affair, and I would not be surprised if Adam and Eddy eventually reveal some of the answers to the things that were left ‘hanging’, although I don’t think it’s going to happen within the course of OUaT itself (at least not any time soon) given comments they’ve made.
