“The cereal is revolting!” they cried out.
“Well, I have always thought it was disgusting. I mean who wants cardboard for breakfast? Coffee and croissants, now THAT is what I call breakfast” Belle replied.
“We mean it’s fighting back!” Charming exclaimed.
“Oh my god!” Snow cried, so suddenly it startled Charming.
“What? Is the cereal coming?” Charming looked nervously behind him.
Horror filled Snow’s eyes. “We left Henry inside!”
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of Felix“Alone at last,” Henry whispered, and began opening cupboards and drawers, certain that he would encounter another magical object. And he was not disappointed.
“What do you seek?” asked the Pop Tart box.
“I seek breakfast!” replied the startled young lad. “I’m hungry!”
“Alrighty then, just jump on over to the counter and have a seat. You’re in good hands.”
“Oh wait…”
In the meantime Emma was following a trail of bread crumbs. Toasted breadcrumbs, and the occasional burned slice of bread. What was that toaster up to?
The breadcrumbs led through the backdoor of Granny’s Diner kitchen. Emma quietly sneaked in and saw the magical toaster on the counter top next to a whole batch of Granny’s toasters.
“Arise my toaster brethrin” called the magical toaster haughtily.
Granny’s toasters didn’t move.
“Arise I said!” screamed the magical toaster out of frustration.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixPoor little guy Emma though. He must be lonely
Sneaking up behind the toaster, Emma grab it around the middle.
“Put me down witch! Put me down! You cannot do this!” yelled the toaster
It was then that Granny appeared in the kitchen, wondering what the commotion was.
Meanwhile, back in the loft, Henry looked at the Pop Tart Box. “Oh wait…you don’t have any hands.”
“I was speaking figuratively.” The box rolled its eyes, then it whistled. “Remy, can you whip up some crepes for this boy?”
A rat with a chef’s hat crawled out of the trash bin. “Oui.” The Rat said, at least, that’s the only word Henry understood, because he didn’t speak french.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
“Is that hygenic?” Henry asked the rat as he sniffed the flower?
“Eyegene iz fur sissies,” the rat answered haugtily, with a strong french accent. “Vous doubt mon arte?”
“No, no of course not!” As long as it did not have eyes or legs he would eat anything at the moment. Unfortunately most things did at the moment. The apple had just blinked at him. He put it in his school bag. Maybe he could sneak it into Regina’s home later, and give her a fright
“A rat!” Charming shrieked jumping onto a chair. “Get rid of it!”
Henry gasped with surprise at his grandparents’ sudden return. He look at Snow who rolled her eyes over Charming’s reaction.
“What did you used to do on your farm when you saw a rat?” Snow questioned her husband.
“My mother always saw to them” Charming replied, not taking his eyes off the rat that was running around the kitchen.

Keeper of Felix“Come on, little fella. Time to get out of the kitchen before my husband breaks his neck, falling off the chair.” Snow tried
The rat got up on his hind legs “I amzz not un litle fella. I amz un chef, un artiste. Now zis yung man asked for u crepe, and he will getz un crepe. Comprendez?”
