What I am waiting impatiently for is the story of the EVIL fairies. I know it is a theory not everyone is on board with…. yet 😉
One day Blue fairy will explode like the dead star that she is, and try to take world domination- No just kidding!! but something along those lines. I want to see some shades to that shiny blue magic she keeps sending out.And more stories on the dream world and what it is about that…the dreamcatcher, the wraith, the sleeping spell ??? Huh ! what do they mean with that stuff ??
August. Come back please, you’re a doll !
Well, Maleficent is actually supposed to be an evil fairy, based on the original Sleeping Beauty story. Maybe in the Once universe, she was originally working with the Blue Fairy like the rest of the fairies, but somehow went rogue. Considering Rumple’s distaste for Fairies, I’m sure he felt no guilt in having Emma slay her for the potion. It would also make sense explaining how Maleficent learned how to wield magic in the first place. Regina and Cora had to learn from Rumple how to learn magic themselves, but I doubt Maleficent did. I’d love to find out how she and Regina came to know each other.

It would actually be cool if they started putting in just tiny tiny hints, that she couldn’t be trusted. Just easing it in, that she was brewing something. Wich only the viewer saw and then we could all be sitting, yelling at our tv screen:
” EMMA DONT GO UP THE FREAKING STAIRCASE IN A DARK HOUSE WHEN YOU WANT TO ESCAPE THE EVIL MURDERESS. RUN OUT THE DAMN DOOR !!!!!
like we do when watcing scary movies 😀Wow I got bleeped in this one 😆 thats funny.

I don’t need to see him refusing to fight in the Ogre Wars, because we’ve heard about it ad nausum. The point is not how he refused to fight, but that he refused to fight. That set up the disintegration in his relationship with Milah and the circumstances that led up to him becoming the Dark One.
What I do want to see though…..
1. What happened to Gerhardt? Is he still locked up in Frankenstein castle and has been there for 28 years, or did he get out of his cafe before Victor was sucked out of that world by the curse?
2. More of Jefferson’s backstory would be good. As cool as it would be to see the Mad Hatter’s tea party, if it doesn’t further the plot more broadly I’m ok with leaving it alone.
3. Hook in Neverland definitely, with Bae/Peter Pan and how the latter left Neverland to become Neal. (Ahem. Just pushing that one further!)
4. The curious case of the missing puppet.
5. George’s origin. Why did he need to go to Rumplestiltskin to make a deal to have an heir? How did his wife become cursed to be barren? There’s more there to explore. I think we have the story of how Snow and Charming won his kingdom – we saw the aftermath of battle. That’s self explanatory. But we didn’t see the “you should’ve killed me when you had the chance”. That is something I think we need to see.
6. Storybrooke: do we stay or do we go? I think the residents need to make a decision by the end of this season – do they try to make new lives in our world, or do they try to go back to their fairy tale world? (Spend this season making that decision, and season three trying to make it happen – that would be my guess)
7. The Blue Fairy’s Masterplan. I think if this doesn’t come up this season, then it’s likely to not be a going concern in the future. She’ll either be relegated to be Nice Background Stuff, or we’ll see the wider picture come out.

I think they actually mentioned the dark fairies just recently or at least the one that Snow dealt with to get the fairy dust from that she and Charming used on the trolls so if they mentioned it maybe they may be exploring it sometime soon.
As for August…hope when you say doll you don’t mean the wood puppet…he freaks me out in that state.lol
January 27, 2013 at 1:38 pm #170209MyrilParticipantMaleficent and Sleeping Beauty as well as the quest of Aurora and Mulan now for Phillip. A good opportunity to bring Aurora and Mulan back into the overall story arc could be, when people from Storybrooke will look for a way back to the Enchanted Forest.
Want a fairy story line too, but a different one. Not on the team distrust-the-Blue-Fairy, but think the fairies had an important role in the Enchanted Forest (and maybe other magical lands) and still have in Storybrooke some influence. Maybe could tie Maleficent into that story line, if her background is that of a fairy turned evil, maybe because of love (remember reaction to Nova). Maybe Maleficent was the one who gave the dark fairy dust to Snow. Maybe the Blue Fairy and Maleficent had some feud going on. Kitsis and Horowitz emphasized in interview, that we didn’t get to see a (dead) body of Maleficent, so think they’re keeping options open for this character even for the present. Besides I so would love to see them give Keegan Connor Tracy a chance to show some more profound acting, drama to shine with, and would like to see Kristin Bauer van Straten again.
Ruby / Red. Not so much in the past but in present Storybrooke. For me Ruby’s situation is one of the most interesting of any character in present Storybrooke. While others are just a little homesick maybe, Ruby has a real problem if the outside world comes to Storybrooke, and we can assume not even everybody in Storybrooke is fine with what she is. On the other hand, when Ruby talked Dr. Whale out of killing himself, she hinted, that our world might offer a chance, that maybe the Dark Curse in a warped way did a bit of good for some. What if Ruby would stop turning into a werewolf when leaving Storybrooke? Does she wonder about that? Would it be an option for her? As settled as she seems with her own dual nature, think the moment Ruby falls in love, she will be all angst again, still traumatized by what she did to her first love. And yes, I want Ruby to fall in love again at some point (no prefered ship here, might be someone already on the show or someone new, I am open minded).
Jefferson the realm jumper, or portal-jumper as he describes himself. He lost his wife and mother of Grace due to his work. There is some drama in that story, and drama always is interesting. Besides that I’m quite sure we’re going to see him again, we’re not done with realm jumping.
Stay in Storybrooke, go back to the Enchanted Forest? Can they go back at all, what do they want to do? Will it be a question of either all have to go or no one, or will it be possible to establish a lasting connection, portal, so that they could go back and forth? As Swanning-Off think that is something for next season to explore, but think there is not much to decide for the moment, expect someone or some to look for possibilities no matter what any Storybrooke council would decide.
¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯

January 27, 2013 at 8:51 pm #170249thebeeParticipantEver since Hook came on the scene, I’ve been in anticipation for a love story. That’s what I want. I want my love story!!!!
January 28, 2013 at 2:55 am #170301midnight drearyParticipant-I’d like to see the Rumpel/Baelfire storyline finally come to the forefront. I’ve been waiting for nearly a year and I’m so excited that it’s finnaly going to be resolved.
-Rumpel’s time in the Ogre Wars.
-Rumpel and Jefferson’s alliance. That seriously came out of freaking nowhere. 😆
-The miller’s daughter tale.
-Where the heck is August? Like…SERIOUSLY!January 28, 2013 at 1:02 pm #170327toothfairyParticipantI want more back story on Hook, Neal, Emma, and somebody who we’re all forgetting: Granny. Why did Hook become a pirate? Granny was young once. Did she ever have a true love? I want to hear more about her life.
I’d like to see them pair Emma or Regina with Hook, if even just for a little while. I want to see him stay on the show through next season because if he goes I’ll really miss him. He’s turned into the biggest reason why I watch, and I need my fix. I am hating this 3-week hiatus.
I want two people to come back: August and Graham. I miss them. I hope we get more back-story on August. He said in Tallahassee that he wasn’t good at resisting the temptations of this world. I’d like more information on what he meant by that.
If they have to introduce more characters, I hope they’ll do something with Mother Goose (like the old lady who lived in a shoe, Peter Peter, pumpkin eater, and Hickory Dickory Dock).
January 28, 2013 at 6:36 pm #170354evilqueenParticipantI would actually love to see Granny’s story and how exactly the red cloak deal with Rumple went…
Oh, and how Henry the father ended up in Wonderland in the first place… ❓
