Oh Bae still wants to be with Emma I just don’t see how he’ll leave Henry and Henry’s gonna go back to Storybrooke so I think Bae is going too. I don’t think Bae will stay estranged from Rumple forever either, some how between all this Neal will try to reconcile with Emma

Baelfire/Neal will certainly come back to be with Emma. I don’t see him reconciling right away with his father–at least I hope not. It wouldn’t make sense for a quick reconciliation with the two of them, and I really like how Neal pointed out how much he had gone through.
As for Emma and Neal, it was pretty obvious that he still loves her. He was a bit angry at her for keeping Henry a secret, understandably. Plus, he has much he has to get through with his father.

I think Neal is still TOTALLY in love with Emma. He’s just very shocked to see her. Which brings up a point I was wondering: he didn’t seem to realize it was Emma, so why was he running?
Either it’s because of his life of crime, and he’s still afraid of going to jail either for the watch heist or perhaps for even more now. Or it’s because of the postcard, and he was on the lookout for his father to come find him, so he took off the minute something suspicious arose.
There’s so much delicious angst between these two! Their scenes in Manhattan wrenched my heart in every direction. I believe they’re end game, but don’t wanna see them get it to together immediately.

I think he knew that Rumple was going to find him in some way. However I don’t think he was expecting Rumple as Mr. Gold in a suit. He was thinking of using-the-force Dark One and the hell that came along with it (i.e. Rumple could have figured out a way of bringing magic to the world, or as we saw him when the first season started–the not so nice landlord)
Personally I think Emma and Neal are going to reconnect–at least first on the level of understanding each other. I think she is going to understand why Neal did not want to find out (or at least learn about what Gold was like in the early years) and why he had to let her go. Neal may feel responsible for Emma being ripped apart from her family, and being alone in this world. If he had not sought out the BF or had not failed in bringing Rumple to the world without magic–Emma would have grown up with a family.
However something good did happen and that was Henry. I believe Henry is going to be the one to connect all of them (as Snow and Charming noted.. the very messed up family tree 😆 ).
As for whether they will love again I am not sure. I do believe that they were (are?) each other’s true loves. Whether or not it will be rekindled is something we will have to see. It is possible that Emma moves on (or at least tries to with several characters–Hook comes to mind, don’t see August–I see more of a swift kick to his sensitive area, and not sure who else).
I’ve always liked SwanFire on paper but was a little underwhelmed by Tallahassee (it was sweet, it had its moments, wasn’t really into SwanThief at the time, saw more potential in Hook). Fast forward to Manhattan and I am MUCH more impressed. So glad I like present-day Neal more than flashback Neal (and I’ve always been a fan of Bae – was so worried he’d grow up to be something awful based on what he went through with Rumple but glad he hasn’t lost all of his sweetness!)
I’ve been a pretty vocal supporter of CaptainSwan (still see the potential there – though most thrown together with Emma have a great potential story arc) but I can see/understand the SwanFire thing now (was always waiting to see present day Neal just because I try to be open-minded and wait to actually SEE something before hating it – things are always shades of grey on this show, that’s why it’s so great).
After tonight’s ep I’m still 50/50 but as opposed to things like Lost (I’m still mad), if this couple is endgame I’d be ok with it (based on what we know so far).
There’s definitely lots of potential and I’m looking forward to seeing more SwanFire moments. I always liked the *idea* of it, but the execution this time around was much better. It was so nice seeing him stick up for her this time too!
(And yes, it’s possible to be a fan of both sides and be torn. What can I say, I like most of the characters / potential pairings on the show and I can see why they would want to go down one or both roads at some point in the future. Just glad I’m not the one character that has to pick one of them. I want everyone to be happy!).

MysteryKat25, SO nice to hear someone who is invested in both ships!! Im with you on this! I hate shipping wars that can turn nasty, I like both Bae and Hook, they are both complex and interesting caracthers for Emma to be paired with…Personally I LOVE Swanfire, and LIKE CaptainSwan, very different ships, but both have amazing potential….we shall see what happens in the show, but after this episode I’m excited!! For me the journey is the most fun, not exactly the final destination, so I hope to see lots of angst between Swanfire, before/if they get together in the end!!…

Didn’t make sense for a quick reconciliation between Cora and Regina either but happened…way too fast in my opinion.

I’m reminded of the line in Tallahassee after Neal and Emma escaped from the store…Neal said something along the lines of “the little guy saved us” in reference to Emma faking giving birth with her fake pregnancy. Maybe that was a little foreshadowing of Henry being the one to actually bring the two back together enough that they realize they still in love with one another.
