So “Regina’s captured” does refer to her being captured by Snow and Charming back in the Enchanted Forest. AWESOME. I’m curious about how Snow and Charming were able to take back the kingdom. And how the heck did they manage to capture Regina? She’s a sorceress. She can just poof into thin air and disappear. Did Rumpel help them? ❓

So, I guess the scene of Regina choking Snow in the promo was real. I wonder why Regina is dressed so humbly? Did the citizens of the kingdom run her out of town and so she was forced to live on the road?

as I was trying to make the matter simpler for our english speaking friend I think I made it worst… something got lost in translation I guess (badum tssss!!!)
and I have to disagree in some context, some words are always plural… Like “voeux de mariage”
anyhoot, we’ll find out for sure only when the episode airs.!

Marilou, I never implied any such thing. I think it was the other way around. You implied that I didn’t understand the definitions of the word voeu/voeux thus me explaining that I am francophone, fully fluent in my mother tongue and that I do, in fact, understand the two definitions of the word voeu/voeux. Gosh, I’ve worked for the Federal Government for over a decade as a translator and also handled the bilingual testing. It is my area of expertise. One doesn’t need to be living in the neighbourhood of Le Plateau to be considered francophone.

Yes, marriage vows is plural however a vow of chastity (un vœu de chasteté) is singular.

Whether it turns out to vow/vows or wish/wishes, it still doesn’t change the fact that they used a singular possessive adjective with a plural word. Just saying…….

Mes knows no gender: ma robe (sing/fem) becomes mes robes (plur/fem) just as mon ballon (sing/masc) becomes mes ballons (sing/masc). Mes is always the plural possessive adjective for both fem/masc. However, chevaux, jouets and livres are all masc/plurals and require “mes” as their adjective and not “mon” ex., mon cheval/mes chevaux, mon jouet/mes jouets, mon livre/mes livres. Which is what I said all along about #6 incorrectly being “mon voeux” instead of “mes voeux” or “mon voeu”.
