Kill anyone who enters the portal? Does that mean enters in Storybrooke trying to get to the Enchanted Forest, or the other way around? And why would they do that either way?
[adrotate group="5"]November 2, 2012 at 6:18 pm #159163RumplesGirlKeymasterThat’s a good point Hannah! Is it those going to EF or those COMING to SB. Hmmm. Cause that mean Cora and her army (including Hook) which makes sense why Rumple and Regina wouldn’t want those people coming through the portal. Except…what if the theory that Cora and Hook (? maybe Mulan) can transform themselves to look like MM and Emma is true, then they’d let them through even though it’s not really MM and Emma. EEK! This has got to be the final episode before Xmas.

After Emma's betrayal, Hook allies himself with Cora to recover the compass from Emma and Mary Margaret. Meanwhile, Regina and Gold learn that Cora plans to open the portal and prepare to do whatever it takes to stop Cora and Hook from coming through to get their revenge.I’m not convinced that Hook ‘allies himself’ with Cora. I think it might be an act or he changes his mind when he meets up with Emma again, because they wouldn’t build the bond (i dont know what else to call it) between himself and Emma only for Hook to end up being an enemy for Emma. I’m hoping that he helps Emma in the end, which might end up being the cliff hanger for the break.
I wonder how Hook will convice Cora to team up again, because she doesn’t seem like the person who gives second chances. Also, someone had asked Jane if there is 'any hope for Hook and Emma', which she replies 'I don't see why not'
I’m just not convinced that Hook is ‘evil’, I just think he is blinded by revenge.
November 5, 2012 at 1:15 pm #159582PheeParticipantHook hadn’t counted on Emma turning on him, he thought he had the upper hand in that relationship, and if anyone was gonna do any double crossing, it was gonna be him. So I can see him not trusting her any more, (whilst at the same time being impressed by her), and going back to TeamCora instead, at least for now.
As for Cora giving Hook a second chance even though he failed to get the compass, it’s not like she’s got a lot of options right now. As far as we know, there aren’t many people left in FTL, much less people who have a passionate grudge against the same person she does. They both want Rumple dead, and if they work together, it increases their chances of getting the job done. Basically, Cora needs Hook.
I guess during whatever communication happens between Charming and Snow, the topic of Cora must come up. Is it any wonder Regina and Rumple wanna kill people who come through the portal if one of them is potentially Cora? Assuming that Cora is savvy enough to have considered the fact that she wouldn’t last long in SB if she pokes her head through the portal, that could potentially lead to the impostor theory coming true. Much easier to sneak into town as Snow, because even if Regina and Rumple set some sort of trap for those coming through the portal, Charming would see to it that Snow (and Emma) wouldn’t be caught in said trap.

Yes, I still say that Hook was always going to turn on Emma no matter what, but even if he was going to work with Emma if she got the compass first, I think they’re going to be enemies now.
It is possible though that he might change sides again though when he finds out who Emma was in love with because I think they’ll want to leave the door open for Hook as a character after this season, so they’re not going to make him completely irredeemable or possibly kill him off like I think they will Cora this season. (Well they might not kill her off, but put her in some kind of prison so there’s always a possibility she could become a threat again, but Hook, they’ll probably let go if he changes side and helps the allies.)

Along with my feeling of Hook planning to double cross Emma all along, I think he was pumping her for more information that he and Cora could use, and for me that gives more credence that Hook and Cora will pose as impostors.
Charming may not be able to tell right away because of whatever side effects he might get from the life threatening danger is used on him to communicate with Snow. I believe it will be the Sleeping Curse because of the dreams that Aurora, Henry, and I think Snow had, which wouldn’t seem to impact him in being able to tell the real Snow, but maybe it the effects will be worse on him because he already had mysterious black outs last year. Henry might be able to tell, at least, after the joy of having Emma and Snow home returns, but it might be too late because Cora, Hook, and/or King George might have done something to him by that time. Red might not be able to because of whatever lengths she goes to, to stop her werewolf side from coming out after Billy turns up dead, and she thinks she might have been responsible. I don’t think any of the Dwarves even Grumpy see Snow enough to notice if something is up. Rumple and/or Regina might, but I’m hoping they get played by Hook and Cora too.
November 5, 2012 at 1:53 pm #159587Killian JonesParticipant^^^ I disagree I think Hook was going to stay with Emma and her group. I think he was telling the truth, sincerely trying to help Emma and Emma was starting to feel something for Hook to a point where she was going to let emotions cloud her judgment and really couldn’t tell if he was lying anymore. Rather than take the chance and trust Hook she double crossed him. Maybe now he’ll use the information he learned against her but I’m hoping he’ll again try to help Emma proving that she was wrong and she should have trusted him. It’s a shame that what happened with Neal made her so shaky when it came to trusting someone that she put up that emotional wall when she felt herself getting close to someone.

I was thinking the same thing! “Kill anyone coming through the portal” – Why on earth would they let Snow and Emma through? I guess Emma owes Rumple a favor and Regina is trying to redeem herself: I think this is going to be a great scene wheres Regina and Rumple could take a huge risk for their “loved ones” (Rumple to find Baelfire, and Regina to please Henry). It would be awful ( but really dramatic) if they make the mistke of letting Hook and Cora through.
Furthermore, we know Hook and Cora do make it to Storybrooke. So what goes wrong? I can’t wait!

Regina and Mr. Gold try to prevent Coraâs arrival in Storybrooke by making the portal dangerous, jeopardizing Emma and Mary Margaretâs lives in the process. Meanwhile, back in the fairy-tale world, Captain Hook meets the Queen of Hearts. So Cora is the Queen of Hearts because we already know that he meets up with her again.
I have a theory but its a bit far-fetched-
Everyone might know how evil the Queen of Hearts is and people might also know of her ripping of hearts. When Hook finds out who she is, he might refuse to team up with her due to his disgust at ripping of hearts because of what happened to Milah. Hook is going to kill Rumple for ripping out Milahs heart, he probably wont want to team up with someone who does the exact same thing.
If Hook had told Cora why he wanted revenge on Rumple, surely Cora wouldn’t have told him she doesn the same evil act because she needs his help.
But i might be wrong, because Hook will do anything to get his revenge on Rumple. Also does anyone know when episode 10 airs after the break? Thanks
