So. Still don’t like her, guys. 😆 So I'm guessing – if Tamara doesn't go with them on Hook's ship…then she somehow makes her own way to SB later on? Seems like the possessive type…
Poor Emma. It looked like her and Neal were starting to be more comforable around each other, too. If I could hug all SwanFire supporters in ths thread I woud. (hug)

March 4, 2013 at 2:07 am #176653thathelesParticipantAlso, notice what Cora said… they will all be dead before they get back to SB… plus she kinda knew where NEAL was because who told Hook how and where to find him??? UM Is Tamara working for Cora????

Emma’s too awesome though
“Wow, generous FRIEND”March 4, 2013 at 10:46 am #176832theladybelleParticipantI am not so worried for the furture of Swanfire. Sure, it won’t be an easy ride, and there will be things to overcome.
But this show is full of true love. The moral of the show seems to be that true love will always prevail. You have one true love, and you will always find a way to be together, no matter what. Life is full of trouble and difficulties, but that is not enough to stand in the way of true love. You stay true to each other and have faith in each other. It’s a love and faith that is so strong that nothing can tear it apart. We see it again and again.
So, let’s look at Swanfire. There are loads of clues that Emma and Neal are each other’s true love. First, from the beginning it appears that Neal and Emma play a very important part in each other’s lives when they first meet. We see how they are going to give up their thieving lives and start a proper life together, and they seem deeply devoted and in love with each other.
Emma kept the swan key chain AND the car. It might seem like she is just keeping them because she likes the key chain as necklace and the car is very convenient for her to have. But it does appear that there’s more to it. It seems clear she wears it not only because it’s pretty but because it has more meaning to her. It reminds her of Neal, the man she loved, and likely the only man she ever loved. And the car was their only home, or at least that what’s can be assumed based on what we see as their life together.
Neal kept the dreamcather, a clear sign he still has feelings for Emma. For the past 11 years, he has kept it. So, just like Emma’s key chain, he still has strong feelings for her. Especially if he kept it in front of the window, a place he’d likely look at regularly. It wasn’t just put somewhere out of sight.
And now look at the episode Manhattan. It is clear they are both shocked at seeing each other again. And based on Emma’s reaction, she is not over Neal. She is still torn by her love for him and her hatred at what he did to her. She had previously told Henry a false story about his father, to avoid the pain of the memory and to shield Henry from the truth. And she denies that something good came from their relationship. She is deeply hurt, and the pain has not grown less over the years. And Neal also shows a lot of regret at what he did. It’s clear it’s not at all like: oh well, it’s in the past, let’s move on. No! These two have clearly still love for each other, though there are things in the way.
And let’s not forget that they have a child together! If anything shows true love in a show like Once, this must be it. If a couple like Emma and Neal have a child, they are meant to be. It wouldn’t be right for couple that love each other and have a child not to be together.
So if Swanfire isn’t true love, I don’t know what is. But they will be together, otherwise all this attention to them and their relationship would be for nothing. The writers know what they are doing. They would not set them up as a couple only to have them not be together in the end. It might not be a simple and relatively easy road to true love, but they will get there eventually.
Sorry about the rant, but I have seen some concern about this ship, so I just wanted to present my thoughts on the furture of Swanfire.March 4, 2013 at 11:01 am #176835spinninggoldParticipantSo…. Tamara gives Hook a lift to SB, perhaps? As he pretends to have a recent broken leg… Heck, he might be the only one that knows where it is, if Neal does not tell her.

I disagree. Snow and Charming come from a magic would which ran on true love, Emma grew up in a land without magic. The real world does not run on true love. In reality, many couples have a child together but then break up or get divorced. Just because there is a child in the equation doesn’t mean that a couple have to be together romantically.
If Emma and Bae do get together again, I would like it to be for a better reason than they have to be together because they have Henry. Personally I think it would be more refreshing if Bae and Emma did give a relationship another go but it doesn’t work out for them for various reasons and they break up amicably, remaining on good terms so they can both be a part of Henry’s life. I also think it would be a good message to send to kids watching the show that, just because your parents aren’t together anymore, it doesn’t mean that it’s the end of the world.
I think giving Emma a real world happy ending (She moves on with her life, perhaps meets and falls in love with someone else, is on good terms with Neal so Henry has two parents in his life who aren’t fighting), would be a nice contrast and parallel to the fairytale happy endings that Snow and Charming have.
I don’t want Emma ending up with Hook either.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixMarch 4, 2013 at 7:50 pm #177033beastwhispererParticipantThe people inside Storybrooke weren’t the only ones robbed of their happy endings by the curse. Emma and Neal were robbed of their happy ending and their family scattered by the curse just as surely as the Charmings, Cinderella, etc. The people who have been freed from the curse are fighting to take back their happy endings. I want to see Emma and Neal do the same. Anything less is unsatisfying narrative for me in a story about hope for a happy ever after. Emma and Neal are fairytale characters in their own right. Ugly Duckling x probably Baefire Pan. Emma has made the biggest sacrifices and deserves a fantastic ending rather than settling for something less.
