That would certainly be interesting and finally introduce another character from Arthurian legends.
I wonder if that would possibly make Rumple = Merlin as well?[adrotate group="5"]"We were happy."

A “Dark” Fairy? Really? Gee, how did you come to that conclusion?
Well we know Snow got magic dust from a “dark fairy” in Snow Falls, but we have yet to met that specific fairy. Tamara might not be that fairy, but we should recognize that there are Dark Fairies in the world. And given some of the spoilers from this episode, it looks like Tamara is less than honorable. So one of my guesses is that she’s a dark fairy.
Given that K&H have mentioned the dark fairy who gave Snow the dust quite recently, it’s certainly believable that said fairy will pop up at some point in the not too distant future. I’ve always figured she’d end up being Maleficent, but you never know with this show.

It looks like you’ve unnecessarily taken offence to the word “dark”. I’m pretty sure they weren’t referring to her skin colour.

An objection to interracial marriage would be a horrible reason to object to Tamara being with Baelfire, and it’s really wrong if some fans use that to justify their dislike. However, I hope people here have the good sense not to do that. When it comes to preferring SwanFire, race has nothing to do with it, since even if Tamara were a rich white girl from upper Manhattan, Emma is still better for Baelfire.
It’s been hinted widely in the ABC promo for 2×18 that Tamara has an agenda of stealing magic and that she’s just using Baelfire to get to SB. IF that’s the case, then there is warranted reason not to trust Tamara. Even if Tamara turns out to be a perfectly lovely girl with honorable intentions, people are still entitled to prefer Baelfire be with Emma over Tamara, because they feel Tamara is just a distraction from Emma being Bae’s true love.

In no way, shape, or form, did I mean the color of her skin. Nor would I ever make such a heinous remark. This show uses the concept of Light and Dark to discuss Good and Evil, like a lot of stories do. That’s all I meant. If I offended anybody then my apologies.

on the SWAN/NEAL VS TAMARA/NEAL debate I will like to add:
I agree that not everyone is the same, we all want different things, and see things differently: SOME people may not want a couple together for superficial reasons 🙄 But In defense of Intelligent Shipping 😀 , I say this:
I think Tamara is VERY beautiful regardless of her intentions (good or evil) and I am intrigued by her character!! We do not know her or her relationship with Neal YET,so I’m waiting to see it start developing in the new episode, promos can be misleading, she seems shady in the promos but I will wait for proof in the upcoming episodes…BUT in the end I think It will always be SWANFIRE for me even if Neal/Tamara are good together and she is a nice girl, BECAUSE Emma&Neal, they won my heart since Tallahassee, and I could see True Love potential between them…that was all before Tamara…
Some people MAY be superficial about things but at least for me and I guess a lot of shippers in the fandom its about : What we have seen in episodes that makes us want more, we hope for more. because we fell in love with the possibilities…It all comes down to CHEMISTRY between characters and actors, their journey, potential EPIC storytelling, character personalities and development: that is why I ship a couple, NOT because of Physical Appearances and other awful superficial things…
March 21, 2013 at 11:17 pm #181485theoniongirlParticipantAs someone who’s read a lot of Arthurian legend, I feel obligated to mention that there are many different versions and Morgan le Fay isn’t always a really bad guy. 🙂 Or girl.
She and Arthur have a sister, Morgause. Now, there’s a piece of work. In fact, Disney’s “The Sword in the Stone” is based on T.H. White’s “The Sword in the Stone,” the first part of “The Once and Future King,” and in there, Morgause is the one who largely brings about Arthur’s downfall (via Mordred).
Morgan doesn’t come across well in the T.H. White version, if I remember correctly. (It’s been a while. I do think she’s referred to as “a queen of fairies.” 😀 ) But Morgause is truly unpleasant.
And you know what, I think she spends a lot of time trying find/cast magic. I must find my copy of the book …

They’ve shown lots of similarities between Rumple and Neal/Bae so far: dark clothing,
mannerisms, both separated from their sons, etc.
I think it would be cool if they also both had a relationship with a ‘bell’ woman – Rumple with Belle and Neal with Tinker Bell.
People may have posted this before but Tinker Bell is sometimes translated as Tinn Tamm in French (sounds like Tamara?)March 22, 2013 at 5:55 am #181591PheeParticipant@Second Star wrote:

OMG, if people have been judging the quality of her character, or whether or not she should be with Nealfire, based on her skin colour, that’s absolutely revolting! 😯 Like RumplesGirl clarified in her most recent post, the term “dark fairy” was in relation to “dark magic” and we’ve seen “dark fairy dust” on the show before. Dark as in bad magic, given that promos have suggested she has a hidden agenda, not as in judging someone’s goodness or lack thereof on the basis of skin colour. It baffles me that there are people who would think such a thing. 😕
The only thing I do find interesting about her skin colour is that it matches Lancelot’s, and there was an article that claimed they were looking for a Tamara with a Brit accent, (though I don’t know if that’s true), and Lancelot’s casting call mentioned a Brit accent, (but he didn’t end up having one). So when the option of Morgan le Fay was tossed into the mix for Tamara’s identity, and it’s a totally feasible theory IMO, (there was actually another casting call earlier in the season where we briefly speculated if it could be for Morgana, turned out to be Red’s mother), I wondered if perhaps they’re planning to go in the direction of making everyone from that traditionally British Arthurian realm be African American instead.
