Pleaaaassseeee… I was the first openly vocal person who did not like her from the beginning… and I was soooooo over criticized for it, that I stopped being as active with the board. I just want to mention that as inappropriate as my Tam-who#$a comment was when I was still trying to fig out a nickname for the twu wuv stealing wench, it does now seem eerily appropriate!)

We know she’s using Neal and, chances are when she finds out who his father is, she’s going to be very interested in Neal, but is her relationship with Greg genuine or are they just partners in crime with benefits? She sneaked away whilst Neal was in the shower, possibly only a few doors down from Greg’s room, it’s an awfully big risk to take especially if Greg isn’t anything serious.

We will have to see how she interacts with Regina, because Regina talked about “a certain mermaid” so I feel if she was Ursula than Regina would know her.
March 25, 2013 at 11:31 pm #182281sacrlcParticipantI’ve been thinking about the Oz theory. What if Tamara is the “wicked witch of the west”. She could be “collecting” all the magic she can because her magic was taken away from her, perhaps by Glenda, the good witch of the North. She wants to recover her magic by taking it from others who already have magic. Her “taser” could really be a magic collecting contraption that kills the victim by sucking all the magic out. She wants to be the most powerful witch to enact revenge against Glenda and anyone else she has in mind.
Don't grow up. It's a trap.

Neal would have recognized her and I don’t think they would EVER make someone like Tink as evil as her. Tink might be a little devious and jealous at times, but she’s not evil.

If you want to personally use pejorative language have at it. I am not keen on that kind of language so any issue I might have with your naming and that I might have personally voiced is purely personal and of my own opinion. Everyone has different way of labeling their emotional response to characters so I understand it from that angle. 🙂
By in by, many knew there was more to Tamara however I am someone who likes to speculate from all angles mostly because as a (mediocre) writer I might find a gem that can be expounded in form of fanfiction etc, as well as see the interesting theories that people can come up with based on source materials, name meanings etc.
Plus honestly given on how the show has dealt with villains Tamara and George are not going to be outright villains. George has a huge chip on his shoulder that has driven him to what he has to in order to find his father. With Tamara we have yet to find out really what her backstory is about. Considering that George witnessed magic because of Storybrooke then how did Tamara witness magic and did she have a tragic circumstance the way George did?
Right now that is what is interesting me more. I want to know how she experienced magic and what possibly tragedy resulted from it.
Oh and that taser. 😆
March 26, 2013 at 7:52 pm #182429PriceofMagicParticipantI think you mean Tamara and Greg rather than George. George is the one who adopted Charming’s brother.

Keeper of FelixMarch 26, 2013 at 11:56 pm #182507HappyEndingsSpectator” Tamara = Mombi, the wicked witch of the south, who was defeated and deposed by Glinda and who got screwed out of her magic when she was exiled from Oz (I think in the Oz books she was turned into a rose and/or then exiled to the Nome kingdom but whatevs) “.
I had posted this on another thread but guess I should have posted it here. I found this on comments on another article what do you think? ❓
March 27, 2013 at 7:09 pm #182679fallensnowParticipantI have a strong feeling that she’s Ursula, or a OUAT twisted version of Ariel.
My first inkling came when I saw that she used the taser. Seems like a pretty lame weapon, right? However, it makes for a perfect modern Trident!
Since she was introduced not long before the Peter Pan episode, I think she’s one of the mermaids in Mermaid Lagoon that’s in Neverland. The mermaids are dangerous and jealous of Wendy because Peter likes her more than them.
Ursula is manipulative and collects souls, probably for magic. Tamara is manipulative and also seems to be collecting magic.
Ursula also has the ability to change her appearance. However, she is unable to manipulate her reflection. I will definitely be paying attention to mirrors when she’s around.
If I see a Nautilus shell, I’ll be sold. -
