You guys are so calm and sensible. 😆
To be honest, I’m trying to accept it as a ‘surprising plot twist’ but really this Tamara/Neal stuff is literally eating me from the inside slowly and painfully. lol. And sure, it may not be endgame and Neal loves Emma but still. It’ll be like David-Kathryn-MM all over again, and if Tamara’s presence causes Emma more angst I just don’t know if I can take it. That poor girl needs to catch a break.
HA! I’ve said this a few pages back I think (I am really losing track of where I’ve said things on this forum…) but I am trying VERY hard not to outright hate this character without seeing her first, but I’m failing at it. I want SwanFire. And I think after Neal forgives Rumple (which will happen eventually, I believe) then I think he’ll be more open to the idea of magic and returning to FTL and being with his true love, Emma.
the draw of the dark side of the force is great indeed…lol I disliked her the first picture I saw of her with Neal…couldn’t help it.

Cora is another terrific villain for me, and I enjoy Hook too. Villainhood might be Tamara’s only shot at being likable for me. Otherwise, I’ll be struggling not to hate her. The dark side is always so hard to resist… they have cookies…. they always have cookies, drat it!
February 23, 2013 at 9:32 pm #175160mich7Participant😆 😆 lol And everybody loves cookies!

But I think we just got our reason for why Neal didn’t go to Storybrooke after the curse broke, other than his father. I hope the whole I’m a Fairytale character will make this chick run off, but if she knows which I kinda doubt, I will bet she is Wendy.
Keeper of Swanfire's dream catcher, the Blue Fairy Plot Device, the contact name "Her", the lanyards, the trigger, the Netherworld room and necklace, Charming's quote on Thanksgiving, and PP's pic of Henry

Sadly, I think it’s too late for me. I’m already so far on the dark side that I see bats. 😆
(sigh) I just hope Neal and Emma don’t become the Ross and Rachel of Once Upon a Time, if you know what I mean. My heart wouldn’t be able to take 7 seasons of “will-they-won’t-they” drama. I’d just die.
February 24, 2013 at 3:14 am #175212tracytheoncerParticipantI think Tamara is either Tinker Bell or Wendy (I’m leaning towards Tink). I was a huge SwanFire shipper, until I heard he has a fiancee now. It throws a damper on things and makes me feel even worse for Emma. I could justify the whole jail-thing, but I can’t really justify this. I mean, while I do think Neal still loves Emma (he kept the Dream Catcher, after all), him moving on suggests that he gave up on them ever being together. It sends the message to Emma that he moved on, and that doesn’t sound like “true love” to me. I definitely don’t respect Neal/Bae as much now. While I do think Neal & Emma will be “end game” eventually (and I still hope they will be), I think this means the writers are going to drag it out for a VERY long time, which I am going to personally hate. I also hope Tamara ends up being an evil fairy who wants to kill off the Blue Fairy (haha), but I can also see the writers making her just a nice fiancee, ect. who just wants to keep Neal. The “personal agenda” thing from her casting call really makes me wonder about her though….
February 24, 2013 at 3:27 am #175218MatthewPaulModeratorI still think Tamara won’t have a FTL identity. Just because she is with Neal, who people think is Peter Pan or a Lost Boy, does not mean she has to be a Peter Pan character. As for why she is allowed in Storybrooke, perhaps Neal trusts her enough and has the town make an exception for her.

I’m glad you brought that up! If she’s not a fairy tale character, then I’ll be interested in seeing if Neal already told her about his real identity or not. Either way, I suppose it still suggests that Neal really trusts & loves her.
February 24, 2013 at 4:03 am #175225nodParticipantI really can’t theorize much with the information given…
When it comes to what I want, though, and what would go best writing-wise, I rather hope Tamara doesn’t have a FTL identity and that she’s actually HER. It would tie up the strings nicely and advance the new villain after Cora’s death, which I expect is going to have something to do with Storybrooke encountering the “real world” in Season 3.
February 24, 2013 at 4:16 am #175228beastwhispererParticipantSince the people in Storybrooke don’t really know Neal, more likely it would be Emma vouching for her and Neal with the townsfolk. They might need Tamara for a logistical reason. From the Canadian promo I think it was suggested that Rumple needs the dagger to heal himself. That means they can’t leave him in a NY hospital. They couldn’t take him on a plane like this. Neal might not have a car (didn’t use one in the season opener), so Tamara might have to help them save Rumple by driving them back. I doubt Hook will be offering his ship to save his enemy.
Hooray for another rider on the Her train. Welcome, Nod!
