I do think that Emma will insist they bring Hook along…she’s still the Sheriff and responsible for the citizens of SB and for now Hook is a resident of SB…she’s not just going to leave him on an unsuspecting world to cause trouble. Of course why do I get the feeling if he stayed outside of SB for too long the guys in white coats would come for him…”You think you’re who?!” 😀
Anyway RumplesGirl, I don’t know how early they’ll hint around at Peter Pan (and Tinkerbell if Tamara turns out to be her) but I like your idea of betrayal.
I just really want to know why Tamara is being brought in myself. Someone said that the writers debated whether or not to change their original game plan (in making Henry’s father Bae) because the fans had already guessed it. It makes me wonder what other things they might be debating on changing because of fan response. A lot of people thought that Neal looked completely alone in that clip from Broken…not saying that he and Tamara are living together but the scene did give a lonely bachelor vibe to it. Gotta wonder if they had Tamara in mind at that point or if she was thought up later on…because imo she seems totally unnecessary to keep Swanfire apart…they have other unresolved issues that separate them right now.

The creators said in their official podcast for Manhattan that they thought about changing Neal is Bae because “our fans are so smart and they figured it out really early!” The actress playing Tamara is around for the rest of the season with an option to pick up for three, but if fans are really negative (which judging just on this entire thread…) maybe they’ll write her off early in season three.

Would be nice if she left at least by the last episode of this season…never to return because Swanfire reunites like Season 1 Snow and PC…let’s face it we haven’t seen Kathyrn in a long time.

I hope you are right! Sadly, I have a feeling it’s going to be drawn out into season 3. I do think it’s very odd that Neal’s apartment has literally no evidence of a fiancee in it. It’s pretty bachelor-like, and he seemed pretty miserable/bored when he walked into his apartment in the first episode. I wonder if they decided to add her character later on, as well.
I must say that I was also very concerned when the writers said they were considering changing who Neal was because the fans figured it out. While I’m glad they didn’t, this has me concerned about future plot points. Basically, if we figure things out on them, then they’ll just switch it up on us?! That’s messed up. And fans figured it out pretty early because there was a bunch of clues about Henry’s father since early in season 1. I personally like all the clues, as I like seeing if we are right later on. However, if they put clues in it, then they must realize that people are going to figure things out.

It’s like a mystery story where they switch the killer at the last second and then none of the story or clues make sense anymore. Really a bad idea, and not enjoyable for those following along. Glad they didn’t do that, but still scary that they considered it.
There really wasn’t anything about his apartment that said girlfriend. Even in this episode it looked like a bachelor pad with the only memento of a female being Emma’s dreamcatcher. Since Henry was told to hide in the bathroom, one would think he’d be old enough to notice a second toothbrush too. LOL

That really irked me too! I wonder how much fans’ opinions factor into the writing of the show? The reason I worry is because Neal has been getting a LOT of flak from some fans since Tallahassee, and I hope that doesn’t convince the writers to give him less screen time or kill him off based on those reactions. They should write the story how they planned to write it. And in my opinion, Baelfire is one of the best original characters on the show. (Although he’s probably going to be another FTL character too…)
Well, I guess we can expect a lot of disturbing things coming from Adam and Eddy in the upcoming weeks. If the theories are right, we’re potentially going to see at least three big shockers in the upcoming episodes (!!!!!*spoilers*): Tamara as Neal's fiancee, August turning back into a seven-year-old boy, and Cora and Rumple having some sort of love affair. 😕 I…I'm not really excited to see any of those things happen to be honest, but oh well. I'll keep watching of course.
Poor Emma. I just want her to be happy again. (mopes)
February 25, 2013 at 12:45 am #175348nodParticipantThere’s a HER train? Awesome! I wouldn’t mind if it was Tink either, but I just feel like that would be very hard to play off… Too much explaining. If Peter went and grew up, where was Tink then? How did she GET here? If (as she would have had to have done) she deserted Nealfire or something, why is he ENGAGED to her now? It just seems a little too difficult to spring on us last minute believably…

On several of the websites I’ve seen he seems to be pretty popular and well liked…and easily one of the characters that is discussed the most. I look at it this way…at least we’ve got him for this season…would love to have him as a regular but at the very least having him on for the rest of the season is better than having to wait from Episode 1 to Episode 6 to Episode 14…and those waits just to see Neal on the show included hiatus so waiting was doubly dreadful imo.
February 25, 2013 at 3:38 am #175376HappyEndingsSpectatorTo be honest I don’t think he is very handsome compared to the Huntsman and August, plus in that Tallahassee Episode he look like a bum and so much older then Emma.

Yeah so far for me, Neal is just ok. I’m not real impressed yet either.
