The taser didn’t both me at all because I didn’t see it as a normal item. Tamara has been seeking magic and people/ creatures of magic for many years- I got the impression it was something that sucked out magic….sort of like how the Dip in Roger Rabbit is the only thing that can kill toons. That’s why it killed The Dragon and August…it sucked out all their magic which was the essence of their being. (I had to wonder, though, why August didn’t become inanimate again after crossing the town line.)
I think Tamara works for some evil corporation (like umbrella corp from the resident evil series) and is seeking magic for profit.
Likewise the taser is able to emit an anti-magic shell/blast which is harmful only to magical beings. A big time corporation could have the resources to create such a device.
I think that the Blue Fairy is next on Tamara’s list as she saw her do magic. That or Emma, and then Snow saves her to redeem her heart.
I am curious as to with all the characters being fairly divided as they are now if Tamara will try to divide and conquer, or if they will be able to unite to face her.
As well, I like the magic absorbing theory, but I don’t understand why she hasn’t used any yet if that is the case? Does the taser need a specific amount of charge? lol

Yes, Thanks everyone for clearing up that taser issue thought it was stange that it would work on Wood. 😕 The tweet says it isn’t magical so it must absord the magic and stores it.
So if Tamara wants magic she would have to figure out how to do the magic herself unless this taser would activate something like a wand or some other tool so she can use the magic on others.
Owen wants to expose the magic, and Tamara wants to have it so I think Tamara is playing everyone in my opinon perhaps her and Regina will team up ❓
Tamara doesn’t know that Emma has magic unless Neal told her and I don’t think he has yet.
What bothers me is the fact that Gold is suppose to see stuff and he didn’t see her coming or what she is I guess this is just another pothole huh ❓

I really think Regina is next…all the videos that Greg was showing her has been of Regina…Blue Fairy is up there. She doesn’t know about Emma being magical, and quite frankly Emma doesn’t know how powerful she is…yet. 😉

His magic was sort of separate from magic contained in SB by the curse. It affected him when he was clear on the other side of the world. Also, objects containing magic retain it when crossing the town line, (like the shawl, and Hook’s ship) and at that point, August was more object than human.

Can Nealfire please see it or at least get a clue if Tamara goes after Blue? Because considering how willing she was to help him back in the day, I’m assuming he has a soft spot for her and would maybe even think he owes her one. That would be a nice way to turn him against Tamara.

Yep, and that’s also why August started turning back into wood both in Phuket and in Pre-Magic Storybrooke. Though I wonder why only his one leg was wooden for the longest time, while in the last few episodes of Season 1 the rest of him rapidly changes to wood within a short period of time?
