“Not beholden” to established mythology–well, duh. When has this show ever kept to their established mythology?
I’m guessing this is fancy talk for “Having to write around our pre-established timeline for several years was becoming more and more of a pain, so we felt like it was easier to just create this new Enchanted Forest, so we could truly have a fresh start and more flexibility. Not to mention, we got tired of hearing all the continuity criticisms.”

Wait so, Henry also doesn`t remember Regina? but didnt they said before that Henry still had his past memories of SB? or i got it wrong?
Also about Rumple, i almost bet that they going with he did something bad and Belle dumped him and left SB with the kid and are they hinting Hook feels loss maybe bc he doesnt have Emma? So they are making his sense of loss around a character they dont have plans to return( their words not mine).
