They just keep saying they are doing things that they have done before, that it will be like Season 1, but then they say that they are doing something completely different. It just doesn’t seem different at all. They are still going to have the same world building and continuity and character inconsistencies that they have had since the beginning.
Seriously, how in the world has Regina not seen Henry as an adult? That is awful. Does that mean that Emma, Snow, and Charming haven’t seen Henry in twenty years either? That is messed up.
Wait so, Henry also doesn`t remember Regina? but didnt they said before that Henry still had his past memories of SB? or i got it wrong? Also about Rumple, i almost bet that they going with he did something bad and Belle dumped him and left SB with the kid and are they hinting Hook feels loss maybe bc he doesnt have Emma? So they are making his sense of loss around a character they dont have plans to return( their words not mine).
That’s exactly what he feels loss over, being separated from Emma and probably their child. The only way this can work is if they can get back JMO in the finale so we can see Hook reunite with what everything he lost. So they better have plans at the end of the season to bring her back for a cameo in the finale along with the others that left.

Something tells me that they will do something weird like for example what happened with Gideon in the dark realm and may end aging henry while in SB only some months have passed and i would not be surprised if they say that Gideon aged fast, bc of the experience he had and there, with only a few months in SB, Henry got old bc in other realms time passes faster and with Gideon in SB, is a side effect of everything he went through.
because if they going with the SB characters never saw henry in 20 years, then that is something really weird and another major inconsistence, what family simply stays away during 20 years if they are all happy and everything, especially Regina and Emma and even Snow, no way they would be away from Henry and didn`t look for him if he said nothing during some weeks.

Yeah I don’t get this. So no one went looking for Henry during those 20 years? No one tried to get to the EF/other realms to search for him? They just… “oh well. He’s off finding his story. Sure he’s cool!” If they only go to him when Henry asks for help (post meeting Cindy) that’s just sorta…really messed up. You can’t convince me that Regina would be okay without seeing her child for 20+ years.
Also, worth pointing out but people don’t change *that* radically from 18 to 35ish. I mean, I still look pretty darn close to how I did in high school and any differences aren’t massive enough to not recognize me.

They did say, though, that there are no plans to bring JMo back outside that one episode (702) and JMo has repeatedly said that she’d only come back for one–which she has now done–so while it could be written as separation, it could also be something more dire. It largely depends on circumstance of how actors/writer/money things shake out.

In fact, we’ve had Jennifer Morrison play 18 year old Emma, despite being in her 30s in real life at the time.
