ParticipantWe’ve seen multiple times how these writers switch plans consistently in one season. I think maybe they’ve planned to the mid-season finale but not the finale
Sure but if they known that’s JMO was leaving since before the finale of last season and they have had all this time, logic would dictate they would see if she was open to return for more than one episode be itbthe finale or others. It seems JMO agreed to one episode and that alone.
They don’t have plans for her to return because she isn’t returning. That much has been clear to them for far longer than it has to us. It’s not the end of the world that Emma isn’t returning. Her chapter in this story has ended and it ended nicely.
They were asked and they answered. I think to try to bend any other answer out of them at this stage is pointless. JMO doesn’t wish to be apart of this show anymore (who can blame her?) and agreed to an episode. She said that long ago. A&E just confirmed she will not be returning outside that episode. That’s sad but that’s it. I would be surprised if she filmed a secret scene for the finale. But idk. I feel like they would have been more shady with that “nope” if so.

ParticipantI don’t think she filmed a secret scene or they wouldn’t have said nope. I think the only chance is that people change their minds. I just think that a year is not long enough for Jennifer to change her mind.

“We told you the first six seasons was a love story that ended in a very happy place, and now Emma gets her curtain call.”
Interesting choice of words. Not sure what to make of it.

Geez what a weird way to put that. If they were trying to lessen the panic surfacing with regards to Emma dying..they failed.

BlockedThey better be ready for a early death for their S7 should they kill off Emma. I do not see that going well with anyone in the audience at all. Goes completely against everything the show stands for, a massive slap in the face of the last 6 seasons and a display that it was a waste of our time.
A lot of their statements contradict this however as is everything Colin said at TCA and CC and he knows what happens in 7×02.
While Adam and Eddy troll their butts off, Colin would never do that. Colin has always been honest.

ParticipantUltimately, it’s not up to Adam & Eddy…JMo is simply done with the show.

LOL, exactly!!! “Her Curtain Call”….yeah…that isn’t the best thing to say about a character, most of the fandom thinks is kicking the bucket.

BlockedLOL I can’t wait to see the viewer decline if this happens. I predict it will be very bad and cause a lot of controversy. Nobody in the GA will like this I’m sure and Emma is easily one of the most popular characters in the show. This is not a Neal or Robin situation.
This will probably destroy their s7 before it even takes off. Audiences won’t even give the reboot a chance if they kill off Emma, cause what was the point of the first 6 seasons? There was none clearly if this was all for nothing.
They need to retain as much as their audience as possible, they cannot afford massive viewerdrops but doing something like this will do exactly that.

ParticipantThe only way you can go into Season 7 with a positive headspace, is to think of it as a whole new series. Literally ignoring the last six seasons, and focusing only on the new things being presented. I’m trying my very best to do that…

BlockedThen that just goes to show how much the writers have epically failed. Showing that S7 is going to be a massive flop.
These idiot writers honestly think that we care more about the plot then we do the characters, that’s hilarious to me. It’s gonna take a lot more for me to like the new characters then for you to tell me they have an epic romance like snowing did.
….I don’t care. If I want to watch an epic snowing romance I’ll watch S1. I don’t have to watch this Wal-Mart version.
