Squeeeeeeeze the heart and ink comes out?
So basically that xD
If ink comes from dark hearts…that could explain why Sorcerer used his hat to trap dark beings and why Chernabog devours the heart of those with the darkest heart. Its so he can use it to create ink. Now, the hole in this is that author doesn’t know why Rump wants Emmas heart dark so that may prove that ink isn’t basically dark heart juice. But still, its something to think about.

If it’s the case though, I would assume that that’s just a specific type of “ink” needed if you want to alter the story, and other writers had used more innocent ink to write the stories when they were just recording what happened.

Who’s blood have they been using prior to think, if Ink = Bloody?

But Ursula has already gone and it doesn’t look like she’ll be back. Is she set to come back in any other episodes?

Good question. I haven’t been keeping track, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Ursula makes another cameo before the end of the season.

While we were watching Sunday night my son said, “they are going to spill the ink”…and I’m like….how do you know that. Then he starts telling me about Mickey’s stolen heart and a paintbrush, paint and thinner that work very much like the magical pen and ink of the author. Then he mentions Yen Sid…and I’m like….seriously…why haven’t you mentioned this earlier. lol
Here is a quick synopsis of the Epic Mickey video game. In the game Mickey wields a magic paint brush (similar in concept to the magic pen) that can draw or erase objects in physical existence using paint and paint thinner. He can materialize object from sketches (think Cruella’s necklace, earrings).
In the game, Mickey enters Yen Sid’s workshop through a mirror and starts fooling around with Yen Sid’s desk. While fooling with the desk he spills paint and thinner and accidentally creates the Shadow Blot (who looks very much like Chernabog). To make a long story short through Mickey’s bumbling he ends up with more spillage. After he leaves the Shadow Blot enters a portal created by the paint/thinner mixture and takes the bottle of thinner with him. Yen Sid had created a model of the Cartoon Wasteland World…a ruined wasteland world for forgotten cartoon characters. The spillage gets on the model and creates the portal. Shadow Blot enters the portal and takes the bottle of thinner with him.
Many years later Mickey is abducted by the Shadow Blot and taken to the wasteland where he encounters Oswald Rabbit whose mind is twisted from jealousy of Mickey having all the fame while Oswald was forgotten (think Regina and Zelena). All the forgotten Wasteland Toons no longer have hearts of their own and while Mickey is there the Mad Doctor and Shadow Blot hatch a plan to steal Mickey’s heart.
There is a part where the cork sealing the jug/bottle with the thinner gets broken and the Shadow Blot escapes. Mickey ends up without his heart but as in all good stories…at the end Mickey’s heart is rescued and returned and Mickey and Oswald bond.

With Cruella’s body lying at the bottom of a bluff, Rumple’s going to show up and “procure” (don’t you love that word) the ink that she spilled on herself.
April 21, 2015 at 4:44 pm #302322PriceofMagicParticipantI think the moment the author said about being careful not to spill the ink, it was obvious the ink was going to be spilt. It’s tempting fate like saying “at least it can’t get any worse” or “I’ll be right back” or “everything’s going to be just fine” etc.
I have a crack theory that Rumple’s plan to corrupt Emma has nothing to do with whatever plans he has for the author but that he’s actually priming her to take over as the dark one. Both Rumple’s and Emma’s “start of darkness” involved them doing something immoral to save their child.
All magic comes with a price!

She can give the ink to the heroes without actually appearing. Off-Stagevill is a thing on OUAT
