Anybody else think he might be Humpty Dumpty and just doesn’t remember? Maybe sent by a baddie to help Alice forget. He was such a well-cast part it seems a shame if we only see him once.
Of course he also resembles the Tweedles, but we know those have been cast.

Alice does meet Humpty Dumpty in “Through the Looking Glass” and he basically spends the entire episode trying to confuse her and play riddles with her. Hmmm.
(ps are you new? Welcome to the forums!)

Ah that was me. I’m the annoying mod. I do those things sometimes. Just for future tips: anything about an upcoming episode such as casting, spoiler articles, sneak peeks, ect should be blacked out unless you’re in a spoiler section of the forum. Then I don’t care 😉

I wouldn’t have picked it, because they look nothing like the Tweedles traditionally do, but Jafar had a line to RQ about her Tweedles sweeping up, right before we saw them starting to sweep up the ashes of all the people Jafar made go *poof*. I believe they were also the ones helping her out of her carriage in the Pilot, too.
Anyway, about that Doctor, and I’d love to see him again. He reminded me a bit of Uncle Fester. I’d originally wondered if he had knowledge of WL from his quick scene with Alice’s father back when she was a little girl, but he seemed genuinely surprised that the Rabbit existed.

I didn’t even realize those were the Tweedles. I thought they were coming in 103. Whoops. (Ok not spoiler then)

To paraphrase Humpty’s conversation with Alice…is it a belt? Is it a cravat? Look at the way his collar flips up on the sides just like Humpty’s. This styling doesn’t seem to be accidental.
I also found a reference to a Dr. Lydgate in a book called Middlemarch, but I don’t know enough about it to draw any conclusions from the Wikipedia article.

………..LOL!!!!!!!! XDDDDDDDDD I find this hilarious! Hmmm why would Humpty want to be a doctor? To fix all those who couldn’t be put together just like he once was?

Cause in the most recent episode, Jafar says that the Doctor’s specialty is getting inside people’s heads. That’s pretty much what Humpty does to Alice in “Through the Looking Glass.” He is tells riddles and such, but he also explains the world to Alice, because she was very confused before. So the Doctor in the pilot tells Alice what is real and what isnt’.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"November 27, 2013 at 7:08 pm #226775opera13ParticipantWell, there is one version of the rhyme that involves a doctor:
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
They called a doctor from the town to come and fix poor Humpty’s crown.
He put a stitch in Humpty’s leg and bandaged up poor Humpty’s egg.
He used some tape and then some glue, and Humpty’s now as good as new.”Since it’s not meant to run as a several season show I don’t know if we’ll ever get some full-out story where the man drops through to Wonderland and gets turned into an egg (Wouldn’t that be nice?). Maybe it’s just a metaphor for how he went to pieces after seeing the rabbit and has been trying to put himself back together with laudanum since. The styling just looks really intentional to me, and I thought he resembled Humpty before that shot.
