But clearly Jafar and Aladdin have a story, right? Why was Jafar chasing after that guy in the beginning? What happened to Agrabah? What about the whole thing with him cutting his destiny, did we see that? Are we going to see that? Who was the lady he was with.. the entire opening scene for this season seems like it should have been a setup to be paid off by now.
I think we’ll see some of it–like what happened to Agrabah, but that can easily be done in one episode.

This would be so disappointing. If they treat this like they treated Arthur and Guinevere or how they treated the end of 5A when Emma was clearly supposed to be darker than she was but instead made Hook the DO, I will puke.

I think everyone has gotten sick of the Evil Queen because she has been hanging around for ten episodes doing nothing but making empty threats and killing people that don’t matter. Her cursing Snow and Charming was the most interesting thing she has done. It doesn’t help that the characters don’t react to things either.
What is Charming doing about the information about his father? There is just all sorts of random things brought up and we are still waiting around for something to happen.

We have a whole season. Let’s see if and when they play out. It was my understanding that Charming just kept the letter and didn’t burn it. Doesn’t mean he’s actively searching for answers right now. Since then him and his wife have been put under a sleeping curse so it’s not exactly on the front burner. And as you said EQ has done something. She got her revenge on Snowing. Now as far as everything else, she hasn’t done much. She has tried things, but failed. She tried to trap Emma and Regina in the mirror world, but failed. She tried to get Henry to choose her, but failed. She tried to get Gold on her side but ultimately failed. She tried to get Zelena on her side, but failed. She tried to get Hyde on her side but he died. And correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe she actually has killed anyone right? She can’t kill anyone I thought. Magic can’t harm her but she can’t kill. I thought that was why she used The Count to do her bidding.

She DID speed up Belle’s pregnancy and indirectly caused Blue to abscond with Gideon….

It’s true, she has created havoc among many people. It’s not like she’s doing nothing like people are saying.

I agree – people seem to be more impatient than usual this season for some reason. Why do Jasmine and Aladdin have to be front and center from the second they introduce them? Why is Jafar being “sidelined” just because we haven’t seen any more of him yet? It could easily be the intention of Adam and Eddy that this is a slow-burner that is setting up events for later in the season. They are juggling quite a lot of threads at the moment and not everything can take centre stage at once. Surely it feels more organic to have Aladdin and Jasmine there earlier and not just conveniently rocking up when one plotline ends to fill the gap?

This is pretty much how I feel. Let’s not condemn them til the season is over.

Yeah. That makes it difficult for me to relate to these characters. A real town, plagued by armed maniacs openly wandering the streets waving weapons and kidnapping people, would have a frantic and sustained response to the threat. There must be something in the water to keep everybody calm — which I could totally accept as part of the curse, except that they were also like that before the curse.
I wouldn’t want OUAT to portray people completely realistically, but I think it needs a balance between the cartoon behaviour of the original Battlestar Galactica and the gloomy depression of the remake.

There truly is a suspicious eagerness to her just wanting to take Rumple’s kids from him, which only adds to the Sneaky Fairy Idea! Blue could definetly be up to something!
There is some huge theory running on tumblr, among Rumple Fans.
The theory says that, Black fairy killed Blue long time ago and is pretending to be her all this time. The same theory also says that maybe Black fairy was the one that told Pan about henry , centuries before he was born and that she along with pan, managed to make emma and neal meet to have henry and that were also them that told august who was Neal and made him separate Emma and Neal.
"I offended you with my opinion? Ha, you should hear the ones I keep to myself".
