Because Pan’s Shadow was above the Mills vault when Rumple told the scooby gang of his plan to get the Black Fairy’s wand, and Tink etc decided to go off to “pay respects” to Blue/get said wand. If you look at the top right of the screen you see the darkness with the flashy eyes…

    Really? O.o screenshots., someone, screenshots!!!

I saw that when I rewatched. The shadow storyline ended up being more confusing than helpful. What’s the difference between Pan’s and the “guardian” of NL voiced by Manson?

I think when they would refer to the Shadow as “Pan’s shadow”, they were thinking of it as, “That thing is his actual shadow,” because they didn’t have all the info. But actually, it’s “Pan’s shadow” in the sense that, “It’s a servant of Pan.” Malcolm said that the Shadow was part of the island, and it would also become part of him, which I’m taking to mean that they sort of merged into a team, and the Shadow was the roving, more mobile member of the team.

Makes sense, I guess. I jut got a much more “this is not your island. This is MY island” sense from the shadow in 308. As if he wouldn’t want to work with Malcolm at all

I had that sense too, did Blue use a pronoun for the Black fairy as in “her”–could the Black fairy be the shadow in exile?

Sorry if brought up before did not see whole thread.   Maybe NL is where exiled fairies just go.

Tink uses the “her” pronoun, I think. But Tink may just be reiterating a story she’s heard and not know all the facts.

I think the Black Fairy is The Wicked Witch of the West.

Makes sense considering we will be seeing the WWW. I feel like, she could have been a fairy at one point but became corrupt and Blue exiled her to Oz but she’s back in the Enchanted Forest, and she wants to take vengeance against the Blue Fairy.

Bringing this back because I think it was missed.

in a recent TVLine article Matt Mitovich said that inside sources are saying the WWW and the Black Fairy are NOT one and the same.

There was also a lot of confusing info about Ursula which turned out to be “semi-true” at best.  I’m sticking to my theory because I think it’s so awesome.

Plus, we haven’t seen what happens to a fairy when they go evil. Could be an evil fairy or maybe the evilness twists their magic, making them into witches.
