ParticipantI think the pics were likely fake (dang). I’m guessing it’s not necessarily the 1st episode that they put him in modern clothes. The spoiler did say the beginning of S4 but didn’t specify which ep…
Yeah, agreed

ParticipantI’ve decided I’ve had enough of the whole stay at home mom/homemaker thing.
I’ve decided to go back to work!!! Yay!!
I’ve narrowed it down to two potential career options: umbrella holder or leaf tosser.
There seems to be a much greater need for umbrella holders so I can probably get a job faster but I’m guessing there is more skill involved in leaf tossing so the pay is probably better.
Unfortunately I’m an American citizen and I am only interested in working in Canada. Vancouver, actually. Well, Steveston to be precise. So I’m gonna have to look into some kind of formal training program in order nudge out all the Canadian competition.
How exactly does one become a professional umbrella holder or leaf tosser? I’m a hard worker, quick learner, and have previous management experience. I could hold the heck out of an umbrella and would be the most dedicated leaf tosser if someone would just give me a chance to prove myself!
I do have previous experience as an umbrella holder – as a mom it’s part of the job, I just have to hold it a bit higher – I can easily handle that.
And if the job also requires helping put on and remove coats (sweet Jesus) in inclement weather I am also extremely well versed in that skill – even with someone who wants to writhe and wriggle and fight me about the whole endeavor.
Seriously, would that not be the BEST job in the world?? I would LOVE to explain my job to people at parties!!
“And what do you do?”
“I follow Colin O’Donoghue around with an umbrella all day on the set of OUaT to ensure that the evil rays of the sun don’t reach his beautiful, perfect body. And then when it’s cold I put a heavy coat on him to make sure that hot body of his stays that way. Then I get to undress him when it’s time for him to film a scene. What do YOU do? Neurosurgeon? That’s nice.”
My dream job used to be to work at Disney World. It’s still Disney related but . . .

ParticipantHaha, RGF, you and everyone else would be fighting for the honour! Forget leaf tosser though, if I were you I’d go for the umbrella holder/coat helper/drink schlepper/brow wiper job. That umbrella holder in the pics looked REALLY happy to be there. Can’t blame her but couldn’t they have found someone taller to hold the umbrella over his head? A friend of mine works part-time as a driver for a production company here in Toronto and gets to meet EVERYONE . He worked on Reign when they filmed bits of the pilot in the conservation area not 5 min from my house. I’ll have to ask how one goes about getting a job as a professional schlepper . Can’t help you with the immigration problem though 🙂

ParticipantNo surprise, fans are already ‘shipping Killian and Elsa, even though there was an article that came out today, where Adam and Eddie specifically said that Elsa would NOT have a romantic interest. Let it go people! Emma is it for Killian and he is it, for her. No pun intended about the Let it go reference.

ParticipantRGF 🙂 🙂 Go with it, Gal!!!
Shall we design a special umbrella and Fan T-Shirts for you yet?
I like Lola’s *Professional Schlepper* concept.

ParticipantI was literally thinking the same thing yesterday, RGF! Ok I guess they’re probably in the grips department but do you like interview or something? And what’s the deal in Vancouver/Canada – the actors actually aren’t supposed to hold their umbrellas because it’s part of a union job or something?? Man I need that gig

ParticipantPictorial confirmation via tumblr that the Umbrella Holder job description does, indeed, include black leather pirate coat putter oner.
But along without that knowledge comes the confirmation that I have at least one other person out there looking into this particular field of work. Drats, competition!!!
I’m hoping there is an audition process instead of just an interview for the job. I am more then happy to show them just how well I can follow Colin around with a giant black umbrella.
And, let’s be clear, I would dress and undress that man in an EXTREMELY thorough manner. I would be happy to demonstrate some of my more advanced skills and could unbutton those last few buttons on that black pirate shirt as well. I won’t even charge extra for that service.

ParticipantRGF, if I may suggest that you include a video along with your resume so you can get a foot up on the competition. This video should include footage of you <del>stalking</del> following tall handsome men around while holding an umbrella over their heads and also the dressing and undressing of the same men. I’m 100% certain that you won’t be out of work for long!!!!
I won’t even charge extra for that service.
Volunteer work!!!! Potential employers love that! 🙂
