Did you guys see this? It’s a very interesting facial analysis comparing scenes Emma looking at Neal and Emma looking at Hook.
I don’t know if that’s too fair there’s no pics of Emma and Neal when they were young. Though it’s pretty clear since then it’s been pretty consistent lol

I debated that too but then thought it might be fair only because this is present day Emma we’re dealing with. She’s different from her 17 year old self. Back then they were cute and seemed happy but she’s been through a ton since then so it’s important to note what she feels NOW and how she responds to the two men in question in present day. Her language and body language and facial expressions in particular are extremely interesting.
*adds language on the show to meta list for hiatus rewatch* – since we’re having 2 mini-seasons + a hiatus, I’ll likely rewatch the entire show with the new information and see what I can pick up. I know some stuff has changed over time and the details to how they’re getting there may differ, but it’s still interesting to note what they do call back to given new information!
As for not including that beautiful look, we haven’t gotten there yet so sadly it does not yet count. It will soon though and we can add it to the list! (Hopefully over this hiatus I can snag a new icon and figure out my banner. I see so many lovely ones that, even if they’re not my OTP, are beautiful and I always feel very lacking in that department! I just can’t seem to pick which aspect of theme I want to go with and things have been crazy busy lately.

Yeah I know but it still would be a more full picture. Even better it would show how much things have changed from where they started between Emma and Neal. It’s just night and day since Neal abandoned her.

I am not sure if you guys know it, but here in Asia, there is a Korean Drama ” Boys Over Flowers”. A story about a girl who had a first love but ended up with the guy who fell in love with her after fighting for her heart. She didn’t know she was falling for him but she eventually realized it when she thought she lost him. She still loves her first love, maybe like just something that will never go, but she knows it’s not meant to be cause she is more in-love with this other guy, and she ended up with him. 🙂 Oh and the other guy is a bad ass too XD
Anyway, it did remind me of Neal/Emma/Hook. Neal was Emma’s first love, but as we can see, she is falling for Hook who basically is showing a better form of love, an unselfish kind of love for her. <3 I am a 100% Captain Swan shipper 🙂
