The stuff that ABC is releasing for publicity is confusing me.
I don’t understand the still with Hook and Tink at ALL. First it is a HORRIBLE picture of Tink. She isn’t even looking at him. Second, the whole “Who’s Emma? I only see you.” Watching the episode I agree with how WE all interpreted everything that happened there. But then why on earth would ABC post THAT as publicity???? Lke they are trying to hype some new ship.
Then there’s the Neal poster. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the SF folks on this one. The timing of the release of that poster doesn’t look for us. “Believe in second chances.” Everyone else had their poster released BEFORE their tagline came true. So it wouldn’t make sense for Neal’s tagline to refer to his relationship with Rumple. It seems like they are referring to a relationship with Emma.
So then there’s the promo. We have a split second clip of Emma and Hook looking at each other really emotionally. What if that has nothing to do with them being emotional because they are telling each other how they feel about each other or being emotional because they realize they are going to be separated by the curse, but because they are emotional because Emma is telling him that she is choosing Neal?
Before the kiss episode we got the sneak peek of the kiss which got all CS fans excited. Now there are these two things that have the SF fans exited.
Something just feels off to me.

I really don’t think we have anything to worry about guys.
I think ABC purposely made Neal’s character poster vague. Don’t want to make the SF ‘shippers unhappy, or make us freak out. So they found a middle, making it vague.
I think the ‘ship with Emma has sailed. SwanFire is over. Emma knows it. Hook knows it. The only people who don’t know it are Neal, Snow and Charming and more importantly, Neal.
“second chances” refers to Rumpelstiltskin and Henry. Think about it. Bae’s main story was never about Emma. It was always about his relationship with his father and how he can reconnect with him and not make the same mistakes again with Henry.
I think by the end of this season at least, Neal will (I hope realize), his father and Henry should be a priority and he lost his chance a long time ago with Emma.
I just re-read the transcript from NYCC:
Jen: Yeah it doesn’t eliminate 10 years of having her heart broken over him and feeling like he rejected her – not just rejected her but left her to be – or set her up to be arrested and all the things she thinks happened are deeply…wounding. Even though now she knows that they’re not true, she spent ten years believing them so she needs to re-understand her own history a little bit.

Emma’s already faced her feelings for Neal in Neverland. If she really wanted to get back into a relationship with him, she wouldn’t have stood him up. There’s a lot of pain there. Neal’s responsible for a lot of pain in her life. You really think Emma’s going to give him a second chance?

I don’t want to be the devil’s advocate here but it might be that was the meaning of Nea’s tagline under his poster? I really hate it lol.. I know there’s like 101% that Emma and Hook are the real deal but I just can’t stand Neal being in the way. He’s like that piece of gum that you stepped on and trying to remove. lol

The thing is – I still don’t see ANY chemistry with SF and my interpretation of the Emma/Neal scenes is the same as everyone else’s here on our ship. I just don’t see them working toward a SF relationship at all – except for a friendship in order to parent Henry. And everything I do see seems to be obviously heading to a CS endgame.
But there have been more than just a few times on this show that my jaw has dropped because they threw things out of left field that I NEVER saw coming – that’s part of what is so great about the show. I’m just hoping that a sudden abrupt change of heart and decision for SF isn’t one of them. Because if something like that happens on Sunday, I will literally cry. I know that is completely stupid but I am so attached to these fictional characters that I will honestly cry if Emma chooses Neal. And then I will be miserable about it over the hiatus.

@obisgirl Thank you for sharing this. I really hope he wont be st*pid and not make CS the end game. It will be horrible writing if they don’t end up together. Not because Hook looks good(which he is), but because they have placed the ground work for CS since S2. It will be just silly to throw it all away.
