Yep, Pan’s totally playing on Henry’s big dream of being a hero in his very own story. Along those same lines you mentioned of being like his father, he also now has the chance to be like his mother, and she’s the biggest hero he knows of. She was a Saviour of SB, and now Pan’s telling Henry that he can be the Saviour of NL.

Yeah I’ve been wondering about that too since we now know that shadows can shapeshift. That’s why I was trying to figure out if Wendy is meant to be older now. If yes, then obviously that was really her talking to Bae. If not, then it’s very possible that Bae was talking to the Shadow instead, and Wendy was still back in NL. Only thing is though that John said that Wendy became Pan’s prisoner when they thought they could beat him. That description fits the scene when Bae was taken, but they weren’t trying to fight Pan when Wendy was taken.

Excellent point. I was listening to the AfterBuzz podcast for this ep just before, and one of them said they were gonna go back to re-listen to what Wendy said to Henry, in case there was some secret message hidden in there. Pan told her that mentioning his father was a nice touch, so it’s not something he’d told her to say, and now that you mention it, I do think she was probably trying to make Henry wonder what’s up.
Can I just add that Wendy looks amazingly well-kempt for being a prisoner on the island for over a century? Her hair looks amazing. And just how does she go to the bathroom or bathe on an island full of hormone-ragging teenage boys, especially if she’s stuck in that cage? How does a girl like Wendy get any privacy?
I asked this question in another thread but what exactly has she been doing for a century? Has she really been kept in a cage for that long? Was she allowed to roam freely?
