If any of the actors in OuaT has a long track record before starting this series it is Robert ‘Bobby’ Carlyle. And I bet many of you have seen other movies and series he was in. He’s been in a lot! In my opinion he often makes tv shows or movies that aren’t stellar actually good. For example: I’m a pretty big sci-fi nerd and followed all Stargate franchise. So when they came out with SG:Universe I was excited to see what it would do. Well, in my opinion, it was pretty terrible. BUT RC playing Dr. Nick Rush was the only good part of it. He plays the anti-hero so well, it made the show bearable, if only for two seasons.
I could listen to him talk all day long. It’s that accent. *swoon*

lol so I’m not the only one who watched SGU for Dr. Rush…best part of the show…couldn’t stand that smarmy kid that was always trying to upstage him with his intellect though (and everyone else loved that guy).

Sad to say except for OUaT, SGU, and The Full Monty I haven’t seen any of his other work…I do however think he is brilliant.

*Pushes you lot towards Marilyn Hotchkiss’ Ballroom Dancing & Charm School*

Just one word suffices and that’s *drool*. He is supersweet and charming throughout and you just want to take him in your arms and …. *leaves that up to your vivid imagination*

And boy, that guy can KISS to make my knees melt.

The first movie I remember seeing him in was Trainspotting when I was in high school. I had a lon standing crush on Ewan McGregor because of the Star Wars prequels and I want to see every movie available out with Ewan in it, and I saw Trainspotting. I remember Robert was the guy who screamed at everyone and had “anger management issues.” Like Rumpelstiltskin does on Once Upon a Time 😆

While the show was in its first hiatus in season one, I started watching SGU on Netflix with my boyfriend and I liked it.

Oiii Ser_Dragon, language… I am surprised the swear-filter did not catch that, since it can’t stand more than darn 😆 Which is a problem with Carlyle movies, seeing his favourite word is the f-word 😆

Just saw this from Plunkett & Macleane… So not what I expected… soooo way way better… Must hunt it down now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=fe2wGxrWIsU&NR=1
    Wow.

I had never heard of any of the OuaT actors prior to show- although my husband had seen both Robert Carlyle and Jennifer Morrison in other things.

But now that I watch this show, I agree that Robert Carlyle is amazing!
