A magical door took Ingrid to our world in 1982 (I think NYC?)
Has the Sorcerer used the door before? Can the door be used again? Did it come from the room of doors? How does the Sorcerer have the door?

Why didn’t the Sorcerer give it to Rumple? Sorcerer didn’t like Rumple, would be happy to be rid of him, should be happy to offer a solution that prevented the destruction of a whole world…but apparently not.

When Rumple had the hat, he could’ve easily poofed it off back to his mansion; went to retrieve it after dealing with Anna; went back to get it; then make a deal with the Sorcerer to GET TO OUR WORLD. The Rumple through the past three seasons would’ve done this! This makes total illogical sense.
Keeper of Thor’s Hammer, Will Scarlet’s Genie Bottle, Emma’s Gun, Emma and Henry’s Moment at the Castle, Cora, and the infamous Family Tree!
November 17, 2014 at 8:52 am #290423RumplesGirlKeymasterThe Apprentice told Ingrid that the Sorcerer doesn’t make deals with people who go over to the dark side, but then he made one with Ingrid because “people can surprise you.”
So yeah, there’s no reason why the Sorcerer couldn’t have made a deal with Rumple for that oh so handy door.
It’s another overly convenient magical transportation device.

We’ve seen that Anna & Belle’s journey happens before Roland is born; the curse happens in October 1983. He’s four at the start of S3. There seems to be a year missing here somehow.

I’m pretty confused on the timeline. The FROZEN events of the past–Anna leaving, meeting Charming, coming home, trapping Elsa–all happen pretty quickly. But we know that from the time David meets Anna to the casting of the original curse it’s at least 3 years, right? We seem to be missing some time.

Rumple wouldn’t give up the hat to go through the door. He could just bring it with him to our world using the dark curse.

Maybe there is some explanation like the door was made of the same enchanted wood as the magic wardrobe was and therefore could create a portal to our world. But if that is the case, it should’ve been explained in the show itself.. It would take less than 20 seconds to explain, but instead is left unexplained. The magic door that travels to A Land Without magic now seems like a major plot device. Also, Rumple’s lack of knowledge about said door makes him look short-sighted. He went through all that trouble to create a dark curse to find his son, and now we learn he could’ve just used a door? Ok, then.

It seems Jefferson’s hat is pretty much the only thing that can’t travel to the Land Without Magic.
So far we have: 1. The Dark Curse 2. Magic Wardrobe 3. Magic Bean 4. Mermaid 5. Rabbit Hole 6. Silver Slippers and 7. Sorcerer’s Door. I wonder if we’ll make it to 10 before the show’s over?
November 17, 2014 at 3:41 pm #290536tiara_roseParticipantI think the rabbit hole we can not use for going to a land without magic, cause the dear rabbit came after storybook was full with magic and Alice lodon is not our london, but I mean the rabbit hole could be just not yet, bu instead of the rabbit hole you can use shadow. Shadow is working very good. I mean you don’t need magic at all cost, just a good zipper and a coconut ( that only can use for making spaghetti). I am not sure but I think we can count Lake Nostos and even Nyx to way to get to the land without magic. Maybe even the cool carpet of Jafar, but they are not yet sure.
