I think the rabbit hole we can not use for going to a land without magic, cause the dear rabbit came after storybook was full with magic and Alice london is not our london, but I mean the rabbit hole could be just not yet for sure, bu instead of the rabbit hole you can use shadow. Shadow is working very good. I mean you don’t need magic at all cost, just a good zipper and a coconut ( that also can use for making spaghetti). I am not sure but I think we can count Lake Nostos and even Nyx to way to get to the land without magic. Maybe even the cool carpet of Jafar, but they are not yet sure.

November 17, 2014 at 3:44 pm #290538SlurpeezParticipantSo far we have: 1. The Dark Curse 2. Magic Wardrobe 3. Magic Bean 4. Mermaid 5. Rabbit Hole 6. Silver Slippers and 7. Sorcerer’s Door. I wonder if we’ll make it to 10 before the show’s over?
Also added to that list are 8. the tornado that initially brought Dorothy from Kansas to Oz, as well as brought baby Zelena from the EF to Oz 9. the looking glasses which took Cora, Will and Anastasia from the Enchanted Forest to Wonderland and 10. the shadow which takes children to Neverland from both the Enchanted Forest (Roland/Neal) as well as from A Land Without Magic (Baelfire/Wendy). Now we have at least 10 different means of transportation between various realms, not including Jefferson’s hat.

The list was specifically about methods to get to the Land Without Magic.
The tornado is only known to bring people to Oz from other realms, not the other way around. Looking glasses only transport you to Wonderland and back. Wendy (and Alice) lived in a fictional Victorian England that has magic, not the Land Without Magic.

November 17, 2014 at 5:52 pm #290599MatthewPaulModeratorThe door thing initially bothered me when I knew about it via spoilers. However, part of me feels like giving it a pass because they’ve been playing up this Sorcerer like some sort of God like being, especially if it turns out he wrote the book. As for why he chose to make a deal with Ingrid, I suspect the Sorcerer has a larger goal in mind.

Its still super convenient but yes, if the Sorcerer is being set up to be some sort of end all be all God like entity, then at least it doesn’t leave as bad a taste in my mouth.

The Darlings are not from the same world as Alice. Alice is from Fictional Victorian England, the Darlings are from actual London in our world.

If I had a nickel for every time someone mistook the Darlings’ London as the same fictional Victorian England as Alice, I’d be rich. This is a common mistake, and one that I blame on the confusion the writers chose to make. I mean I don’t blame people for coming to the assumption that it’s the same London, as both Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland are fictional stories. However, they had to make the Darlings’ London the real London because they already established that Baelfire used a bean to get to A Land Without Magic. Still, it’s confusing for viewers to grasp.
