More news on the EQ from Horowitz and Kitsis:

Might Regina ever change her mind about the curse?
Horowitz: I suppose anything is possible.
Kitsis: She enacted it in such an emotional place that she wasn’t thinking clearly. She came here and probably got a little bored. Now that Emma is here, it’s reawakened her passion of revenge and anger. She’s protecting her son. I don’t think she fully understands what she did. I don’t think she understands the repercussions and she’s beginning to lose sight of even why she did it.

That is a great quote slurpeez. That is sort of how i feel about the Evil Queen. She came here and got bored because she has no one to fight against anymore because everyone is afraid of her and she has like ultimate control. That is probably one of the reasons she got Henry.

That comment also suggests, that though Regina knows she’s the Evil Queen, she doesn’t remember everything. She did remember Belle and she keeps David and MM apart, so that would be sort of weird. Very strange comment. I guess I’m just overanalysing …

I think that it just means that she is not all knowing. The Queen only knows what she always has known and she never really understood the full implication of what the curse would do to her and what it would be like. I don’t think that means there is anything wrong with her memory though. I don’t believe that Rumpel is all knowing though either. I think he just knew more about what the curse would do and what it would be like and was willing to wait 28 years stuck in time to do whatever it is he is trying to do.
