This raises the question of how everyone gets separated, though. Does Hyde do it? Wasn’t there only enough serum for Regina’s NYC rooftop separation? Does Hyde get Jekyll to make more?
Hyde definetly creates more serums, and with the help of the Evil Queen, kidnaps Zelena, Rumple, & Hook and extracts from them, their darker selves?

Maybe Hyde would see it as a good cause? Like he thinks he represents the strongest and dominant aspects of Jekyll, and feels like the other dark entities need to be freed from their cages, so to speak.

Will Regina be “weak” and a “goody?” I mean they need to show the contrast right? That would be interesting to see, as we only saw Regina for a few moments without the evil queen.
Also maybe Regina has Jekyll make more and the other villans take it willingly thinking it would be helpful because they see the “new” Regina (before the evil queen get’s to story brooke.)
I am a nerd at heart.
About the crushed heart: perhaps EQ can’t be totally destroyed as long as Regina is alive (like Voldemort and Harry Potter type of deal) so Evil Queen is sort of living through Regina’s heart. This would lead to the solution that Regina and EQ must become one again to stop EQ from terrorizing Storybrooke.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Yuuuup. I think that’s his season 6 arc too. Though I think it’ll Dark One Rumple vs Spinner Hero Father Rumple. The bigger question is who wins.
This I can get behind. And we would get Rumple and not Gold. That’s the one thing that was missing from this half season.
I just finished listening to the initial reactions for the finale. When Daniel stated that he felt frustrated with Snow and Emma being supportive of Regina’s decision to split her evil off from herself my mind went into a different direction. Whereas Daniel went on to explain he felt frustrated because this has been done similarly before.. That is when Regina was last having great difficulty processing and dealing with her emotions so she took out her heart to prevent any of that (not to mention healing and learning from it).
However, my mind turned to when Snow was instrumental in splitting someone’s evil (or “darkness” from another person)… Shouldn’t Snow (and Emma!) have known this was a baaaad baaad idea considering what happened with Emma & Lily? And if that situation implied that one could not eliminate darkness, only move it, doesn’t that also imply that one cannot remove one’s evil-half and kill it? Snow and Emma encouraging this just seems bonkers when I remember Emma’s and Lily’s history, not to mention Snow’s (and Charming’s) role in them.
I suppose there is an argument to be made Regina, with both halves, is making this decision, and Emma nor Lily (nor Malicifient) gave consent. However that is only one part of the problem with this “splitting” solution with Emma and Lily. Their situation has implied that it is not possible to split and kill parts of one’s self.

That’s a really great point (and one I totally forgot about while watching and even re-watching). Yes, the Baby!Lily!Egg debacle should have clued Snow in that you can’t split off darkness and kill it–it has to go somewhere.
