ParticipantJake and the NL Pirates anyone?
I knew there would be a fountain because Jake had to help PP save the fountain. It is the Spring of Life or something. The fountain held all the magic. I am doing a happy dance today!!

ParticipantI guess you guys took Peter’s words a little different than how I did. My understanding is that whatever magic empowers Neverland, keeping it as a land where you never age, BLESSES that spring with healing powers. I’d elaborate more here, but that’d likely deal with spoilers so I’ll be doing it in a General Discussion thread shortly.

I guess that makes sense but didn’t Pan specifically say that it was the waters that kept everyone young?

I played the scene where he explains the spring a few times and I believe his words were “this spring… its waters are rich with the power of Neverland. It’s what keeps this land and all on it so… young”, hence my understanding. I could be wrong, though.

ETA: my kingdom for the preview button back so I’d have seen that Demileto already posted the quote in the few minutes while I was looking it up.

Ok then you guys are probably right. But then did Charming/Liam have to drink the water? Shouldn’t the magical properties of NL just have *healed* Charming? And the water keeps people young, says nothing about healing all wounds.

In the scene when PP shows the spring to Killian, PP specifically states that if you drink from it, “its power can cure any ill.” So it is the magic of NL found in the water which 1) keeps people of NL young and 2) is a cure-all for any ailment.

Obviously RG needs to pay closer attention. I was too baffled by the sudden appearance of a magical water supply.

SpectatorWow!! I guess I miss a lot all I remember is that PP said that drinking the water comes with a price I didn’t get anymore then that out of it. Maybe it is like the Lake in FTL but in this case you have to stay on the island or die.

That’s what I think. My question (and I think this was asked a page back or so) is: are the two water sources connected?
