Alternative theory: Charon and his ferry showed up for this one episode and will not be mentioned again. OUaT loves that.
I agree. Most likely we’ll never see the Charon again just like the chernabog was never seen again after 4×12, not even at the end of S4.

October 5, 2015 at 3:07 am #309181GaultheriaParticipantUm, why is that they’ve been in Camelot for 6 weeks and yet…the fury is just now showing up? And how did Emma know???
Someone devious and powerful might be orchestrating this to build up Regina’s self-confidence and public image as saviour.

October 5, 2015 at 6:10 am #309188PheeParticipantAm I the only one who though this was stupid? I…didn’t get it? So RH died? And Emma brought him back? And so now the balance has been upset and the fury needs to take a life for his life? Is that what was going on? Then why did holding hands somehow make the fury leave? Shouldn’t they all be dead or something?
Imma join you in the stupid corner, because it made no sense to me either. Last week the bit with Regina getting the wand back wasn’t explained in any logical way, and this week it was the hand holding that made the Fury for bye bye for some unexplained reason. Wish they’d put a bit more effort into making their big resolutions of the bad thing actually make sense.
October 5, 2015 at 6:54 am #309193AmdillaeParticipantI am putting in another vote for an Underworld rescue for 5B with Hades at the villain helm. with regards to cast could they just get James Woods for Hades in Once, I can’t see anyone else pulling him off properly. As for Dr Facilier being on board I love the idea but am struggling on how Princess and the Frog that was set in New Orleans can be moved to the Enchanted Forrest.
Oh and like so many, that price was so not paid, what magical payment plan are the Charmings, I want in.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Fury took a fifth of each of their lives from Regina and Co to make up for Robin’s? Which hopefully will take more of a toll on Snow and Charming due to their half heart status.
If one is to engage with the primordial forces of darkness, one must expect a little social awkwardness
October 5, 2015 at 8:43 am #309198kranenParticipantI know that someone on here predicted somewhere that 5A would end with Emma sacrificing her life and ending the Dark One curse and that 5B would be about travelling to the Underworld and bringing her back. I personally thought that prediction was stupid and never going to happen. However after seeing this episode, my mind has suddenly changed and I’m jumping on the bandwagon.

Oh I agree that’s possible but in this case I actually think it’s far more likely we’ll see Charon again, leading up to Hades. There does seem to be a conscious effort to go down Monomyth road with Emma this season and while I had thought their katabasis was less literal, they could easily go literal.

Regina: Tomorrow, thanks to Gold and the Author, I could wake up a talking Frog.
*sniff sniff* Does that smell like FORESHADOWING to anyone else.

I was thinking the same when I saw Snow sitting all tired looking in the booth at Grannies.

Well….. Cruella was from 1920’s London so….

When we got Cruella De Vil and a “Fictional 1920’s London” realm (the 2nd Fictional version of London, at that), I don’t think we can really rule Princess and the Frog out now. They’ll just set it in a Fictional 1920’s New Orleans. Not to mention, Tiana is one of the last Disney Princesses that Once has not done yet.
October 5, 2015 at 1:56 pm #309241WickedRegalParticipantI will definetly be here for the sass offs between Hades and Dr. Facilier. And I think @MattewPaul is right, Dr. Facilier might be the surprise villain we all end up loving like Cruella.

Nice catch @TW!!! I never thought twice about this line, but given what we’ve been seeing, this could definetly be taken as foreshadowing to me!!!!
Adam and Eddy have taken quite a few notes from the Bible…why not take that biggest one with the Savior sacrificing themselves by taking all the sins and darkness upon themselves, dying for everyone and descending to Hell, only to be resurrected in the end with all power in their hand.
Though I am very eager to see how exactly the CharMillStilskins will get Emma back because we all know how Hades feels about what belongs to him.
