The Hero’s Journey (Joseph Campbell)

I am tossing around the idea of doing a series of The Hero’s Journey by Joseph Campbell as it relates to ONCE’s heroines and heroes as the show develops. Should I do that on the forums (and where should I put that under if I do) or submit it via email to the podcast?

Once Upon a Time fan podcast made a nice blog post with a video for The Hero’s Journey. I’ve never seen an actual write up of how it relates to OUAT.

There are some great youtube videos about the hero’s journey / monomyth by Kal Bashir. Search youtube. They make Joseph Campbell seem simple (but believe me, he’s not).

I think writing about the Hero’s Journey and OUAT would be great – please do it! I’m a big fan of Joseph Campbell and I once cited a quote from The Power of Myth in a commentary I posted on The Thing you Love Most ( http://www.onceuponatimespace.com/uloveComment.html ). I would love to read and discuss examples of how his work applies to OUAT. I look forward to reading your series!
