I think he used the Darlings in the Land without Magic, by the means of Tinkerbell, or perhaps a LB he had based in our world. I think the Darlings, or their apprentices/heirs, supplied GOAT with their gear.

September 30, 2013 at 12:08 am #212945Hook’s GirlParticipantI wonder how Tamara’s data with the red vile got analyzed so fast back in 2×18. The transfer of stuff & information without a portal. Also makes you wonder who the other believers of GOAT’s cause are. Have they all been doped by PP?

September 30, 2013 at 12:22 am #212952PheeParticipantI could get on board with the EvilDarlings theory. That’d be fun and twisted.
I think there’s gotta be some go between for THO in our world. All their equipment worked while in our world, that walkie talkie would have had an actual battery that they’d charged multiple times, it just disappeared when they got to NL. So all their stuff was real world stuff, and I think there had to be someone in our world who they actually communicated with, and that’s the person who spoke directly to PP. There had to be someone in our world to have recruited GOAT in the first place.

There is much more to the Home Office than we have seen. It wasn’t just a coincidence that Tamara met August in Hong Kong. They’d had a trace on him. Now it’s just how large does the Home Office extend in our world. I think that’s what’s going to be the focus for the second half of the season.

Yes these guys have some serious connections. Either the Lost Ones are going back and forth or someone is doing a lot of dirty work.

Is there a real Home Office, that PP took advantage of by commandeering two of its splinter cell agents, so they had no idea who they were really reporting to was not the original organization they wanted to serve?
Or to flip that on its head–what if some of the organization he created went rogue, so although he did start it because it is easier to get people to hate than to believe, it actually took on a life of its own. Hey, that could tie to Dr. Whale and Frankenstien too thematically–Pan may have started it, but he may not be as in control of it as he thinks.

September 30, 2013 at 4:40 am #213022PheeParticipantI think if THO was created by someone other than PP, he just overtook the whole operation, as opposed to brainwashing a couple of agents.
The name, The Home Office sounds like something from our world. Henry even has a line, “An office in the jungle?” I think if it had been something PP started up himself, it probably would have been called something different.

I think it’s simpler than that. I think PP eventually concluded that sending his shadow in and out of our world to bring him potentials for the boy he was looking for was getting him nowhere, so he tasked one or more people (Wendy? John? Michael?) with setting up a front for the job here. After all, having 100+ fools looking for Henry is far more effective than just his shadow.

That’s very logical. I do think it’s the Darlings. But does that mean that they live in NL for portions of time in order to not age very much?
