I think it’s possible that Ariel has been shunned by the mermaid community and is living an isolated life. Hook may have encountered her sisters and sees them as baddies who will drown you without having met Ariel.
I was thinking something along these lines too, either that or he did meet her but thought she was the same so he didn’t give her a chance to prove him wrong, so he still thinks all mermaids are bad

I could see that too, he doesn’t know!

Dunno if I’m gonna keep messing with this and add Hook to it or not, but anyway, Pirate Ariel…
You can’t really see, coz they’re tiny, but on her dangly earring there’s a fish and a crab, for Flounder and Sebastian. 😉 And of course, she’s wearing a dinglehopper pendant. And the stones in the rings were black, so I made them red, to match Hook’s rings.
(This is the pic I started with, Angelica from PotC: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120103091851/pirates/images/d/d0/AngelicaPromotional.jpg )
That looks awesome Phee!!

Thanks. 🙂
Someone needs to make a Hookriel fan-video with the song “Mermaid” by Train. It’s really catchy.

It’ll be good when we’ve got some footage of our actual Ariel. I’ve got no idea how to make vids, but hopefully those who do will crank out some new Hookriel stuff once they have the footage to use.
I always wanted to make one to when you say nothing at all, but I’m just not that talented 🙂 lol
