The Many Deals Between Hook and Pan

You know. That is very possible though I don’t *want* to think that cause it’s kind of horrible.

So I never really wanted to pose this question cause I thought I’d be shot down in a torrent of hatred but in all fairness: Pan called Hook’s work “dirty.” Was Hook trafficking kids to NL for Pan? Was that part of the deal?

Well that certainly would have been some dirty work. Hook was in a dark place when he was hellbent on revenge, so he may have agreed to do that for Pan if it meant Pan giving him eventual help with getting back to FTL to kill Rumple.

It is curious that she’s in what appears to be Bae’s old robe, and Hook having used it to lure her to NL could explain her having it. Another explanation though could be that he’d kept it all those years on the JR, and Wendy only gets it when they’re on the ship coming back to SB.

I like that possibility much much more than the previous one.

I don’t think Hook captured Wendy because it wouldn’t make sense timeline wise. 

I do think Pan was able to go to the FTL as the piper, which we saw was AFTER Hook had run off with Milah, due to Bae’s age.   So I think our timeline looks like this:

Killian Jones leaves NL, brother dies.  Turns pirate.

Pirate Jones sails to a little village (every day, like the one before…..) and meets the beautiful, but miserable Milah who wants adventure in the great wide open somewhere.

Little Bae ages 7 years.

Rumple becomes the Dark One.

Bae meets the Piper.

Bae goes to BF, gets beans, and is dropped in London.

Jones and Milah pick the wrong port, run into Rumple,  and Hook is born.

Hook goes to NL.  He’s still uncertain of Pan and how the land runs.

Bae shows up.

Hook trades Bae for unspecified gratitude of Pan.  Dirty Work begins, with promise that he can have his revenge eventually while doing it.

 

I did think it was interesting that Tamara said you can always count on a pirate to do your “Dirty work” when she opened the van to release Hook.  Interesting call-back.   Anyway, I think it was after Hook came to NL as Hook that his working relationships with Pan began.

That makes the most sense to me as well.

We haven’t seen that many Lost Boys. After Bae came to NL, did the shadow stop collecting, because basically PP had most of what he wanted?

The deal could have been: work for me for this specified amount of time doing whatever I require and then I’ll let you go to kill Rumple.

For the theory to work, Hook would’ve collected Wendy from London after Bae came to NL but before Hook left for the EF. Wendy was kept in the cage, so Baelfire would’t have known she was there.

It’s not clear, but the Shadow still came to EF when Roland said the magic words, “I believe.”

Yes, I think that is the essence of the deal that Hook made wit PP. But what exactly was Hook doing for PP while the pirate was in the boy’s employ?
