SPOILER COMMENTS and thoughts:
I fail to understand why Grumpy wants to go back to the Enchanted Forest. Maybe it will now be explained…. lack of modern medicine would be the main reason NOT TO GO. BTW I think we are suppose to see WHALE in this episode.'HOOK better not be trying to shoot BELLE cause he cannot kill Rumple/ Gold …

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 14, 2013 at 4:19 am #168197nonnieParticipantI liked Belle taking charge, using intelligence, her knowledge to beat the beast… turning Phillip loose…. too bad this was before the wraith got Phillip. Too bad she lost her real identity when she went over the line and reverted back to her Storybrooke persona. Gold is going to have to work real hard to win back her love. Hope he does it before season finale.
HOOK is going to find out what modern medicine is like. Dr Whale… what is his specialty or does he use FAIRY TALE medical practice or modern medicine…. IN case this is a spoiler…
Really Gold couldn’t you make enough potion for the whole town, in case there were accidents. Like tonight’s encounter with Belle.

I couldn’t agree more! The way they kept on mentioning the lack of potion made me just count down the minutes until tragedy struck. 😡
Favorite moment: Belle standing up for herself and actually defeating the “beast.”
Least favorite moment (besides the ending!): Henry nonchalant reaction to Archie’s return and him “knowing” all along that Regina was innocent.
January 14, 2013 at 4:35 am #168206craxyfoxParticipantNot really sure what my favourite moment was, but I did like Belle a lot more after this episode 🙂
Least favourite moment, how Regina and Cora both seemed to have disappeared. And how Belle HAD to stand that close to the line, I just knew she would cross it accidently, how could they be so careless 😡

I loved seeing Belle on her own for a bit. It was nice to see her just having some alone time before she bonded with Mulan, who was equally awesome in this episode. 🙂 Seeing her being able to outwit those guys was also awesome. I also loved seeing the return of Dreamy, even if it was brief. It was also nice that the demon was just Prince Philip under some spell from Maleficent and not just a monster wreaking havoc.
I loved how Snow White was in this episode–she was trying to be motherly to Emma and a wife, but at the same time she was putting her foot down when Prince Charming was trying to convince her to fight. 🙂 I get Prince Charming misses Fariytale Land and all, but the curse has broken now, which has made Stroybrooke a bit better. They have a whole town to themselve, and can really turn it to their home.
Glad they didn’t make the story arc of of Archie kidnapped too long. I was a bit afraid they were going to stretch that out too long.
Belle able to knock aside Captain Hook was awesome–he really does end up getting tied up or knocked out cold. It does put in a bit of humor in the story. It is funny how everytime he flirts with a woman, he ends up getting hit.
Belle calming Rumpelstiltskin down from hurting Captain Hook was touching–I love how she brought the light out in him, and his obvious care towards her throughout the episode was sweet.
Least Favorite Moments
Belle trying to take on the demon without a plan and with a dagger–the first time, not the second one. I don’t get why she thought that would ever work. I’m not trying to attack her character, but it seemed extremely reckless for her to do.
Also, the glossing over of Milah’s death. I get Milah wasn’t a good mother to baelfire or a good husband to Rumpelstiltskin, but it doesn’t mean she deserved death. It kinda bothered me by how quickly and easily Belle seemed to defend Rumpelstiltskin for it. I guess the amount of time the episode has is part of it, but I would have liked for her to at least confront him on it.
No mention of Pinocchio…again. Seriously, it would be nice to at least have him mentioned–to know that people are looking for him.

Least fav – Smee turning into a rat. He could have ben useful later on as someone who procures precious object, there must be more than one of those in sotrybrook.

There was one more I forgot….
Belle and Rumpelstiltskin just letting Captain Hook go. I’m happy that he was spared and all, but they could have easily tied him up amd called Emma to come and arrest him.

THEY did suffer due to that oversight… see what happens when you are selfish?
