KeymasterWishRealm!Hook has a daughter who has gone missing. Who is Hook’s daughter? Who is the child’s mother? And where could this daughter be now?

ParticipantI think it is going to be Jacinda. Which would explain the relationship between Lady Tremaine and dream Hook. I doubt we will ever see the mother because I think they are setting up Rogers and Roni to be a couple, maybe they figured out they missed a great opportunity with them in season 2.

KeymasterThe chess piece made me suddenly rethink my theory that Alice is a Rumbelle baby. It makes way more sense for Alice to be Rumple and Belle’s but…it gave me pause. As for the mother, Tremaine is a good guess but I think that’s too obvious given the exposition that they have a past.
Hook mentioned that his daughter was locked up by a witch—maybe his daughter is the new Rapunzel
Also, just wanna say that I think this plot is dumb dumb dumb. There’s already so much plot stuffed into this season without adding a random daughter search for a character we have almost no history with!

ParticipantI think they are just trying to get us non Hook lovers to feel some sympathy for him. Why did we love Rumple (which most anti Hook fans are pro Rumple) is because at heart he was a man willing to do anything to get back to his son. They are trying to pander to that, but it doesn’t work and is really not needed. I am willing to give new Hook/Rogers a try just knowing that he is no longer the old Hook I could care less that he is looking for a daughter, and actually it makes me kind of disgusted that he apparently had no feeling towards his daughter’s mother as he repeatedly said that he had never known love. By the way why couldn’t he use true love that he obviously feels for his daughter to break whatever curse he has?

KeymasterI think you’re right; they want us to like New!Hook so they pulled out an old trick and are hoping that the non-Hook fans will be warm up to this character who comes completely unattached to Emma or CS.

ParticipantI think that his daughter has to be Alice. If our first Alice was the AAIW version, the new Alice is the Through the Looking Glass version – makes the chess piece make sense!

ParticipantThe obvious is Alice, but why would anyone care that she was related to fake Hook and how does that make her related to multiple people when fake Hook isn’t related to anyone at all.

ModeratorThe chess piece could also be a Tangled reference, as this line is in the lyrics for the song “When Will My Life Begin”:
“Paper mache, a bit of ballet and chess.”

Yes! I was just going to comment about that.
Here’s my crazy theory. I think Wish Hook’s daughter is Rapunzel and Lady Tremaine is the mother. I think she is the ‘other’ step-sister. I also think this is why Lady Tremaine doesn’t like magic since a witch stole her daughter. But she obviously gets seduced by it very easily.

ParticipantThe daughter’s rook is black… I know, it’s not as if it could have been green or blue or whatever, but still, Tiana has to be already connected to the rest of the cast somehow.
