His daughter was locked up by a witch, but he was still able to visit her daily. Rapunzel in her tower could still have visitors, they just had to climb up her hair.
WishHook was cursed so he couldn’t see his daughter any more. If the curse is what made him fat, then he could no longer climb up her hair.
The chess piece is a representation of the tower that his daughter was locked up in.
The fandom have taken to interpreting traits in Hook as being traits in Flynn Rider in the past, and this would be a play on that.
Is not Alice, didn’t A&E hinted that she was connected to characters people love, and at this point wish realm hook is not connected with anyone, so I’m still going with Rumbelle.

Im still sticking to my theory that Alice is Baby Robin grown up. Especially, since time seems to be working differently this time around.

Alice is baby Rumbelle. Rapunzel is babyWishRealmHook (god what a mouthful) and they’ll be the LGBT couple because of Rumple and Hook’s past.

I guess they just aren’t going to explain why Henry aged at all, so that means all the kids are just normal growing up age. I think that means that it has been a few years since Henry left town. He might have even visited for all we know.
I think that, as far as we know now, Emma’s second child is like ten. Gideon and Robyn 2 would be maybe around 18 years old. Fake Hook’s daughter’s age could be anything. Neal 2 could be around 19. I think he was only a little bit older then Gideon and Robyn.
Who knows though. They may not bring any of the children from the old characters into the story though.
My first (unpleasant) thought on learning WishHook has a daughter was Alice as well, but I much prefer the Rapunzel and/or 2nd step-sister ideas. Hey maybe Cinderella is his daughter. Judging by his actual age his daughter could be virtually anyone. She could even be Lady Tremaine herself! How’s that for a twist?
In any case I assume we’ll find out by the end of the season.
