But what if its actually Hook driving the car that almost hits Rumple, because the car seemed like it was aiming for him.
Maybe the outsider drove to where Belle is, saw her on the ground and got out to help then Hook quickly gets in and tries to hit Rumple but hits the man instead.
Because from what I could see in the canadian promo, the person who got hit by the car would have worse injuries than the person inside. So that might be why the outsider needs surgery and Hook just needs to be stitched up.
And I know that Hook has just arrived in SB and is getting used to his surroundings, but he already knows what a gun is, so maybe he know how to drive a car too, but he can’t exactly control it and thats why he hits a tree.I know this sounds a bit out there, but then again this show is unpredictable..

Other spoilers in the past (Wetpaint, etc) have already verified thatit's Ethan Embry's character (the outsider) who was driving the car.

😆I hope no one gets hurt in this episode. It looks like the big rivalry between Rumpel and Hook is finally heating up. But unfortunately, that means poor Belle is at risk for being caught in the crossfire. Ugh! Why won’t people just leave that poor girl alone? 🙁

I don’t think Belle will lose her memory otherwise she’d have no clue over who Rumple is. Perhaps it’s the events and revelations of this episode that make Belle despondent. It looks like she witnesses Rumple beating the hell out of Hook so that must have an effect on her. She firmly believes that Rumple is not a monster so to see that side of him must be shocking.

I don’t know, since Belle’s favorite pass time is to get kidnapped, maybe she finnaly got fed up with it and she lets Rumple beat hook just a little… she does not seems to be trying to stop him.
But maybe Hook capture her. Rumple get after him. They fight at the ship. Hook get punched at the face, but before the worst happend Belle stop Rumple. Then they calm down. Talk to each other, that Hook was the one who take his wife (without the story of her dead). In the night they get to line, Hook awakens. Go the to the Border found them and want to shoot. She go between or Hook want to shoot her for revenge. Rumple are outside of Storybrook and can not use his normal magic) She get the shoot, lying on the street and suddenly the car comes, hit Hook and Rumple try to save his injured belle and get unfortunately over the line. End of the Episode.
